A person in this position is responsible for operating production equipment to manufacture chemical batches in compliance with company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and all local state and federal regulations regarding safety, health, and the environment.
What will you be doing?
* Work from written procedures to process, purify, and chemically fabricate products and their compounds through a sequence of batch operations.

Summary:
Under close supervision, responsible for the basic operation and cleaning of pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment and the movement/staging of materials to support the manufacturing process following basic Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs). Knowledge of SOPs, GMPs and pharmaceutical/vitamin/cosmetic manufacturing preferred.
Employees will work in an equipment Washroom and be required to clean ancillary equipment following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while gowned in appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Employees will assist with the manufacturing process by staging raw material containers, collecting in-process bulk product and palletizing bulk finished product while following related SOPs and Master Batch Record requirements.
Employees will perform related documentation (i.e. initials/signatures) on official documentation following Good Documentation Practices (GDPs).

Entry level role in the Coating Department. Coating Operator is responsible for safely operating the coating equipment and to ensure Coating Operations are completed in adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and maintaining 100% cGMP & compliance.
Schedule:
2nd Shift 3:30pm - 12:00am Monday to Friday
Essential Functions:
* Records and maintains the production batch record during the coating operation.
* Observes machine gauges and equipment calibration status and reports any deviations to Coating Supervisor.
* Operates auxiliary equipment used in loading coating pans.
* Cleans and organizes coating room, checks and verifies weight of tablets received from Compression, reports deviation.
* Weighs and divides coating solution in number of parts as per production batch record.
* Checks and verifies coating material dispensed by Pharmacy before making coating solution as per production batch record.

Programming and manufacturing experience REQ D (WE WILL NOT TRAIN YOU, ONLY PERSONS WITH EXPERIENCE PLEASE APPLY) Candidates must work independently and have 3 + years experience. We use late model equipment from Mori Seiki, Fadal, Star, Flow, Amada and Mitsubishi.

Requirements:
Metal working experience

The ability to think out of the box, while being able to take direct instruction.
The know-how to read, examine, and understand blueprints.
The ability to draft and correct if and when needed for programmers
Work overtime and Saturdays as needed.
The ability to occasionally direct people.
