**Your role at Clorox:**
The Shipping operator is a role in the Plant Distribution Center (PDC) at A&M Products in Spring Hill, KS.
The PDC is responsible for safely and efficiently managing finished goods inventory.
12-Hour Shift (4:30 PM - 5:00 AM), Monday through Wednesday & every 3rd Sunday.
Starting Pay: $23.94 per hour plus $1.00 shift differential
**In this role, you will:**
+ Follow all required procedures to safely operator a forklift
+ Transporting materials/supplies to/from the production areas for storage and/or shipping
+ Remove finished goods from palletizer to warehouse storage location.
+ Loading, unloading and transporting raw materials, finished goods, equipment and supplies from semi trailers and railcars,
+ Complete quality checks and required paperwork
+ Transporting raw materials during product preparation to packaging lines. Providing routine and preventative maintenance
+ Providing housekeeping to the equipment and work area.
+ Prepare reports and performance tracking
+ Satisfactory completion of required training
**What we look for:**
LIFTING/CARRYING or PUSHING/PULLING DEMANDS:
+ These activities may be accompanied by reaching, bending and/or stooping: Other physical activities that accompany lifting and carrying include bending, lifting object from waist height or floor to chest height, pushing and pulling.
+ Equipment used to assist with lifting and moving includes pushcart, dolly, forklift truck, pallet jack, track mobile, hydraulic and air driven hoist, scissor lift and/or high reach.
+ The shipping operator will need to be able to occasionally lift 50lbs

About the Role
As an Abbey Mill Operator at Zekelman Industries, you will play a key role in setting up and operating the Abbey steel tube mill. This position ensures high-quality production of steel tubing while leading team members to achieve maximum efficiency. What You'll Do
Sets up and operates the Abbey Mill to ensure efficient production.
Oversees quality issues related to tubing and implements corrective actions as needed.
Generates and places tags on all manufactured bundles.
Completes daily paperwork, including production records and timesheets, and submits them at the end of each shift.
Ensures the end welder's micrometer readings are turned in with production paperwork.
Conducts safe, timely, and efficient changeovers.
Verifies accurate setups using micrometers, pi tape, level, and tape measures.
Maintains a clean, organized work area daily.
Attends all scheduled safety meetings and enforces company safety policies.
Demonstrates teamwork and cooperation with other employees and supervisors.
Cross-trains others for the position and is open to being cross-trained in other roles.

Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

Salary Range: $40.00-$50 /an hour
Position Overview: Heavy Equipment operators are responsible for a variety of material-moving equipment daily according to schedule and instructions from Heavy Equipment Coordinator, choosing and setting up the right crane or lift truck for the safe hoisting of equipment and material.
Essential Functions:
Inspect machines and equipment daily, perform routine maintenance procedures and minor repairs as required and initiate additional repair requests from mechanics when necessary.
Ensure equipment lift accessories are in good working condition.
Maintain material moving equipment in good working condition.
Inspect cables for wear and install or replace cables, as needed under Fleet Mechanic supervision.
Determine load weights and check them against lifting capacities to prevent overload.
Inspect bundle packaging for conformance to regulations or customer requirements and remove and batch packaging tickets.
Direct helpers engaged in placing blocking or outrigging under cranes.
Direct truck drivers backing vehicles into loading bays and cover, uncover, or secure loads for delivery.
Ensure cargo is properly secured prior to transporting.
Signal others to coordinate vehicle movement.
Provide additional support to other crane operators as necessary, including working overtime if necessary to complete tasks.
Control cranes, lifts and other equipment using standard operating procedures to ensure effective transportation of materials and safety for all personnel on site.
Maintain visual and radio contact with ground operators according to best practices and site safety regulations and respond to questions and instructions clearly and quickly.
Maintain and update DOT driver log information daily.
Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.

**Your role at Clorox:**
The Shipping operator is a role in the Plant Distribution Center (PDC) at A&M Products in Spring Hill, KS.
