This position is located in Burkburnett, TX, and plays an integral role in support of the manufacturing process through collection, movement, organization, consolidation, and treatment of waste materials and chemicals and preparing for shipment to disposal facilities, while maintaining all Quality and Safety measures. Protection of the environment is paramount to our company and this position is dedicated to removing hazardous and non-hazardous waste from our facility in accordance with TCEQ and EPA regulations. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Using light duty forklift to transfer chemical drums and other waste containers onto trucks safely and efficiently. Ensures the facility complies with state and federal requirements. Operates any equipment needed to perform job. Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision. Utilizes safe work habits. Wears appropriate PPE in required areas. Complies with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures. Complies with all HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures. Complies with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred. Three years of verifiable work history preferred. Ability to pass a drug screen & background check. Willing & able to work overtime and shift work as required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work outside in the elements up to 50% of shift. Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties as required. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Factory environment with a large range in temperature changes. Regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or control; talk or hear. Occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Standing, Walking, Bending/Stooping, & Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly.
