About The Opportunity
The Laminator operator produces all products to defined quality levels, yield and standard. It is the responsibility of the laminator operator to understand all production criteria for all products that are applicable to the laminator operator tasks.
Essential Functions: Changed from Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Set up, operate, and monitor machine to produce corrugated products and record operational data
2. Review work orders or production schedules to determine: Specifications such as material to be used.
3. Selecting and install machine components
4. Start machine to verify setups, and make any necessary adjustments
5. Start machine and move controls to regulate tension on pressure rolls, to synchronize speed of machine component
6. Examine completed work to detect defects and verify conformance to specifications, using measuring evices such as rulers, micrometers, and adjust machinery as necessary to correct production problems
7. Remove defective or substandard materials from machines, and readjust machine components so that products meet standards
8. Follow designated quality escalation process
9. Utilize computer to input production data as required
10. Maintain production records, such as quantities, downtime and production issues
11. Move stock or scrap to and from machines manually, or by using carts, hand trucks, or lift trucks
12. Clean and perform preventative maintenance on machines as required
13. Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors

SUMMARY

Weather, snow conditions and the number of guests play a large role in the work scheduling of Bear Valley employees.
When conditions are normal, you may be expected to work 40 up to 48 hours per week, including weekends and holidays. During busy periods - especially the holiday periods in December and the months of January and February - you may be expected to work six (6) days a week.
