The Plant Operator is an experienced position performing operations, monitoring and maintaining Environmental Services wastewater treatment plants in the seven-county metro area to ensure the highest quality water and air standards possible for the region. Our nine wastewater treatment plants are located in: Cottage Grove, Eagan, Empire Township, Hastings, Rogers, Shakopee, St. Paul, Stillwater, and East Bethel. Operators could be assigned to any of the nine plants at hire and then bid for positions based on seniority.
Work Schedule for Plant Operators: Treatment plants operate 24/7 year-round. Plant operators work 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts. Plant location and work shift are determined through a job bid process. Most operators work a 12-hour shift (7 am to 7 pm -OR- 7 pm to 7 am) on one of the following schedules:
First week: Monday - Wednesday

Operations and Equipment:

In this role, you'll operate equipment to load, unload and transport scrap metal materials within the yard. What You'll Do Operate material handler, front end loader and other heavy equipment safely to unload and move scrap material throughout yard
Perform daily maintenance and inspections

Our Chairlift Operators are the front line team members at Buck Hill. They are the "faces" and "personalities" that our guests come to love. Lift Operation Team Members are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of chair lifts, rope tows, conveyor lifts and the customers that use them. They spend their days helping customers, of all skill levels, load and unload from lifts, in all kinds of weather. As a result, enjoyment of the outdoors is a must! Many guests come to know the chairlift operators and enjoy their interactions with them. We have openings for full-time, part-time, day, night, and seasonal employees in this department.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Be attentive at load and unload terminals
Engage guests at every opportunity
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
Work outside in winter conditions
Maintain a safe work area
Maintain an aesthetically pleasing work area
Perform expected amount of snow work. (Sweeps chairs, remove snow from terminals)
Actively and efficiently organize lift lines and check guest's lift tickets
Display respect for all employees at all times
Demonstrate a teamwork ethic
Take initiative to be self-directed
Complete all paperwork efficiently and legibly
Perform other duties as assigned
