Work you'll do:
Set up and operate the grinding machine according to specifications of the project.
Read and interpret blueprints or design schematics to understand the project requirements.
Select and install the appropriate tools and equipment needed for the grinding process.
Adjust machine settings to control speed, material feed, and path of the cut.
Monitoring the machine while it's running to ensure its functioning properly and to prevent errors or malfunctions.
Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
Perform routine maintenance on the machine to ensure its longevity and safety.
Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the grinding process.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
Competencies:
Strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow technical instructions.
Good problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues that arise during the grinding process.
Basic Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age now or within a few months. (Overhead Crane operation & 3rd shift).
Dependable, honest, quick learner, good communication skills, and team player
Ability to work a flexible schedule including any days, shift, and weekends to ensure that the customer demand is met.
Basic math
Experience with precision tools like Gauges, Calipers, and micrometers
Able to read blueprints.

Currently enrolled in technical program such as machining, welding, industrial equipment, or manufacturing engineering.

This position will be subject to random drug screenings throughout the season.
