About the Role
The CNC Machining Operator is responsible for machining aluminum profiles and component parts on the CNC machine. This role involves loading programs, setting tooling, performing measurements, and ensuring efficient and accurate part production.
Responsibilities
Operate CNC machine (setup, offsets, tool loading, start program).
Load programs from ERP / nesting software (DXF/STEP/CAM).
Set clamps, tooling, and datum points.
Perform dimensional inspection according to drawings and tolerances.
Register production via barcode scanning in D365.
Escalate issues and make small program/tool adjustments.
Perform preventive maintenance and 5S housekeeping.
Qualifications

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. * Sets- up (assembles and disassembles), operates, adjusts and cleans equipment to produce color products and packages these finished goods according to quality, GMP, safety and sanitation standards. Operations may include blending, filling and packing procedures.
2. * Locates, prepares, transfers and loads materials to be processed; transfers WIP or finished product to filling operation, additional processing operations, storage or shipping area.
3. * Prepares packing materials (drums, pails, boxes) and packaging labels and stacks or stages containers for transfer.
4. Draws samples and takes to QC lab for testing per product specifications. Confers with lab technicians and supervisors and makes adjustments to the process to bring the product within specification.
5. Prints and applies labels to product.
6. Completes necessary paperwork or data entry for production/lab records and inventory levels.
7. Follows all GMP, safety, sanitation and quality specifications and procedures.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
1. Ability to read, write and speak English.
2. Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts to the production process including conversion of weight and volume in the metric system.
3. Ability to read and follow a recipe for mixing and/or blending product.
4. Ability to operate a forklift.
5. Ability to use basic hand tools (hammer, screwdriver, wrench) for assembly and disassembly of equipment.
6. Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers regarding the status of the production process.
7. These characteristics are normally acquired through a High School Diploma or GED with experience in a production environment preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Working environment is a production unit and includes frequent exposures to wet, humid, dusty, or loud conditions, moving machine parts, fumes or airborne particles and caustic chemicals. A company issued uniform is required to be worn along with personal protective equipment at all times. This can include coveralls, dust mask, hearing protection, hair/beard net, safety glasses, gloves, and safety shoes. Work may occur in small rooms with air lock compliance to avoid interdepartmental contamination.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, talk, hear, lift and/or move materials or equipment up to 50 lbs, use hands to finger, handle objects, tools or controls and roll bags, scoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and use foot/feet to operate machinery. Specific vision abilities required by this job include vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Roles & Responsibilities
* Operate equipment to assist with the daily production and operations of the plant
* Assist plant supervisor with the daily operations and upkeep of the plant.
* Ability to inspect all areas of the plant to perform belt repairs, screen changes, bearing replacements and other necessary maintenance.
* Perform welding and fabrication duties as needed.
* Detect safety hazards and equipment malfunctions and respond accordingly. Ability to follow directions.
* Must be able to work evenings and weekends when necessary.
* Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in MSHA policies and procedures manual, and OSHA guidelines.
* Perform other job duties as assigned.
Ability, Skills & Knowledge
* Proficiency in operating a diverse range of large aggregate heavy machinery, including excavators, bulldozers, and loaders.
* Knowledge of welding and general mechanics preferred.
* Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements, operational strategies, and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
* Deep understanding of MSHA Regulation.
* High school education or GED equivalent.

The Utility Underground Operator plays a critical role in the safe and efficient construction, maintenance, and repair of underground and overhead electrical distribution systems. This position requires technical skill, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to perform physically demanding work in varying outdoor conditions. The Operator supports the crew in all aspects of underground utility operations, including equipment operation, work zone setup, and adherence to all safety standards and procedures.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform safe and efficient work on new construction, maintenance, and repair of energized and de-energized underground.
Operate heavy equipment, including digger/derrick trucks, to dig holes, load, set, and pull poles in energized (HOT) primary environments.
Set up and maintain work zones in compliance with DOT standards and company safety procedures.
Follow verbal and written instructions accurately while maintaining a focus on safety and quality.
Demonstrate understanding of minimum approach distances and safe work practices when working near energized equipment.
Utilize and maintain tools, materials, and equipment used in line work safely and effectively.
Assist with troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance of underground electrical infrastructure.
Perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions, including lifting, climbing, digging, and working in confined spaces.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and customers to ensure efficient and safe project completion.
Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good working order.
Participate actively in all safety meetings and adhere to OSHA and company safety policies.
Perform other related duties as assigned to support company operations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Technical degree, 2-4 years of field experience, or a combination of education and hands-on work experience preferred.
CDL Class A license preferred, or the ability to obtain within a specified timeframe.
OSHA certifications (10-hour or 30-hour) preferred.
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical instructions.
Proficient in basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and measurements.
Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and underground/overhead electrical construction practices.
Demonstrated ability to think critically, troubleshoot problems, and make sound decisions in the field.
Effective written, verbal, and nonverbal communication skills.
Highly motivated, organized, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to maintaining a safe, respectful, and customer-focused work environment.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to stand, walk, climb, crawl, kneel, push, and reach frequently during daily work.
Regularly lift and carry up to 60 lbs.
Use hands and fingers to handle tools, operate equipment, and perform manual tasks.
Must be able to hear, speak, and communicate effectively on active job sites.
Ability to work in confined spaces and perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions.
Work Environment:
Work is primarily outdoors and may involve exposure to extreme temperatures, humidity, dust, noise, and moving mechanical parts.
Frequent exposure to vibration, fumes, or airborne particles.
Work may occur near energized electrical equipment and moving vehicles; strict adherence to safety protocols is required.
