Job Purpose Able to perform various inspecting, labelling and packaging operations. Tends machines that perform one or more packaging functions, such as packing, or bundling. Major Accountabilities • Handling of components on packaging line and monitors for defects. • Inspects filled container or package to ensure product is according to specifications. • May weigh finished products to detect missing components. • Clears line culls and documents all components discarded. • Prepares shippers, inspects finished product and packages into shipper. If run is complete place white cone on bulk pallet so inventory associate can return to inventory. If run is not complete leave bulk pallet in place. Submit completed Run Start Log and Machine Pre-Op checklist to the QA Supervisor. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Will be required to perform tasks such as lifting up to 55 pounds, walking, standing, climbing, reaching, stooping, pulling, pushing, grasping, and balancing as part of production activities out on the floor. Will be required to see and hear well enough to understand Associates questions and respond to their concerns. Will be required to work in freezers, near noisy machinery, near confined spaces as part of daily production activities. Food Safety Responsibilities: Follow all GMP's, food safety, and quality policies. This position is responsible for operating heavy machinery to load, unload, and transport goods safely and accurately, ensuring smooth workflow and timely processing. The Loader Operator must maintain a high standard of safety and equipment care, minimizing downtime and preventing accidents. Collaboration with warehouse and logistics teams is essential to coordinate material flow and meet operational targets. Ultimately, this role contributes significantly to the overall productivity and safety of our supply chain operations. JOB SUMMARY: Performs various project work which requires safely operating vehicles and a variety of heavy/agricultural equipment that may include, but is not limited to; front-end loaders, skid steers, track-hoes, and bulldozers. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES: * Always operate equipment in a safe manner * Perform loading, unloading, and timely delivery of material to assigned/approved destination. * Serve as a company ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public. * Conduct daily inspections and perform preventative maintenance on the equipment. * Perform shop clean up, maintenance, and equipment/tools setup. * Maintain operation records. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: * Communication skills - verbal and written. * Ability to operate heavy or agricultural equipment safely. * Ability to perform basic math. * Mechanical and electrical aptitude * Ability to follow directions.
