A Skillit customer is looking for 20+ Heavy Equipment Operators around Cheyenne, Wyoming for an immediate start. Any workers that live 90+ miles away from the site will receive Per Diem. This job will serve the front range and the mountains for various jobs around the below listed markets, starting with the project in Cheyenne. The candidate is responsible for ensuring the successful execution of providing CenTrio's customers with an ambient loop temperature ranging from 51 degrees to 71 degrees on a 24/7/365 basis. The OT will work at the Plant normally Monday through Friday and be on-call for any emergencies. Duties & Responsibilities Perform all duties as assigned - Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment Sewer Heat Recovery System the distribution system and in building equipment as required Ensure new buildings can connect to the system and operate as required Assist in the assemble of weekly and monthly reports Work with management and peers to Identify and scope out opportunities to maximize production, minimize operating costs and eliminate downtime Maintain proper documentation, including operating logs, maintenance records and safety & environmental reports Keep the OMM, DO and control room and other remote operators and peers fully informed of unusual plant conditions and current job progress as the job relates to facility operations when assigned on-shift and transitioning shift. As a Licensed Heavy Equipment Operator Journeyman, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy machinery used in the construction, excavation, demolition, and installation of systems. Position may be located at Cheyenne Mountain SFS, Peterson SFB, and/or Schriever SFB. This position is contingent upon successful contract award to V2X. Responsibilities Major Job Activities: + Provides OSP services requiring trenching, loaders, dump trucks, etc. + Performs tasks involving physical labor at installation sites to aid daily operations. + Performs site preparation and implementation activities required to implement approved OSP solution. + Operates hand and power tools of all types, including air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. + Prepares sites; digs trenches; sets braces to support the sides of excavations; erects scaffolding; and cleans up rubble, debris, and other waste materials. + Assists in restoration activities to return site to previous condition before project work. Material & Equipment Directly Used: Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and heavy equipment. Working Environment: Outside environment with potential to support austere locations. Physical Activities: Must be able to lift / carry 100 lbs.
