The forklift operator will be responsible for operating forklifts to transport, stack, and retrieve supplies and materials. Qualification Standards: * High school or equivalent * Preferably one (1) to three (3) years of experience in specified skill * Must pass Turner Qualification written and practical exams * Able to strap load to forks via ratchet strap or similar device * Some job sites may require further NCCER certification * Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation * Job site safety requirements (clean shaven, long sleeves, steel toe boots, etc.) * Safety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, safety harness with lanyard, etc.) * Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others at the workplace * Must have a valid driver's license Functional Requirements: Moves hand and foot levers to control diesel, electric, or gasoline operating equipment; must have a valid driver's license; interprets hand signals to determine where materials are to be placed; reads and interprets load charts; may be required to manipulate equipment on unleveled working surfaces; may perform maintenance duties such as cleaning, greasing and oiling machines/equipment; and maintains a clean and safe work area. Compensation: Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
