Pharmaron is currently seeking a team of Warehouse Operators to join our manufacturing facility in Coventry, Rhode Island. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of inventory movement, storage, and material handling within the Pharmaron Manufacturing Services site. This includes the safe and compliant handling of both hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
The position requires strict adherence to all applicable federal and state regulations, ensuring that all warehouse activities are performed in full compliance with relevant safety and operational standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
Keep things running smoothly:You'll help manage warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing materials-making sure everything is handled safely and efficiently. You'll also help protect inventory from damage or loss and keep accurate records.
Stay on top of inventory:You'll monitor stock levels of materials, parts, and finished products to ensure we always have what we need.
Plan ahead:You'll help maintain inventory records, restock supplies, and support future planning based on production schedules and forecasts.
Support shipping and receiving:You'll handle incoming and outgoing materials, parts, and products-looking for ways to improve processes, reduce costs, and speed things up. You'll also document shipments and prepare reports when needed.
Assist with project materials:You'll receive and check materials for engineering and capital projects, making sure everything matches the packing lists and is properly recorded.
Deliver and stock supplies:You'll bring requested items to different departments, check orders for accuracy, stock shelves, and make sure supplies are in good condition and up to date. You may also help prepare purchase orders and manage PPE inventory for the manufacturing team.
Experience and Education:
Hands-on Warehouse Experience:1+ years working in warehousing, shipping, or inventory control is essential.
Industry Background:Previous work in logistics or inventory management, ideally in pharmaceutical, chemical, or API environments.
Chemical Handling Knowledge (Preferred):Experience shipping and receiving hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals, with familiarity in FDA, IATA, and DOT regulations is a strong plus.
Import/Export Process Understanding:Exposure to international shipping processes, including documentation, carriers, and freight forwarders, is beneficial.
Comfort with Warehouse Systems:Experience using warehouse management and ERP systems-Oracle pr SAP knowledge is a bonus.
Equipment Operation:Trained in operating powered vehicles such as forklifts, stackers, and tow motors
