The Plant Operator position will be responsible for all production, blending, loading, and unloading of all plant chemicals. You will need to understand and operate all plant processes and procedures while keeping a safe and clean working environment.

About this Role
FiberTel is looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator for our Sacramento, CA to Reno, NV project.
The Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for safely and skillfully operating and maintaining construction equipment (cable plows, backhoe, mini excavator, skid steer, rock saw, and other utility construction equipment). Key Responsibilities (Top 5-6)
Set up assigned production line for operation in the allotted time.
Assist in setup/operation/relief for other production lines in the same department.
Starts, stops, sets up, and cleans machinery according to operational requirements.
Performs daily line inspection and reports any issues found to the Supervisor, Maintenance technician, and in Redzone.
Follow-up reports to ensure maintenance tasks are completed.
Oversee line production run ensuring that customer specifications are met, including:
Fruit/Material requirement
Coding is in the right location and in the proper format.
Pallet tag and placard information match product descriptions.
Keeps Supervisor or Manager informed of any issues with the production run.
Position Requirements:
3 to 6 months of Operations or Food Manufacturing Experience.
Communicate well with maintenance staff to correct issues.
Communicate well with QA staff to maintain quality standards.
Must have good written and verbal communication skills.

JOB PURPOSE: To ensure high-quality production of blow/injection molding products by safely and efficiently cutting, trimming, and assembling the plastic components to the specified dimensions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Cut and shape plastic materials (deflash) to ensure product specifications are met by using a cutting knife, scraper or other tools.
Conduct quality checks to ensure the finished plastic components meet the required dimensions and quality standards as described in the Quality specification sheets.
Monitor the machines during the production process to prevent jams, malfunctions, or other issues and report in a timely manner to Process Technicians or Supervisor.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to ensure a safe working environment.
Maintain accurate production records, including the quantity and quality of plastic components produced during each shift to ensure information integrity.
Collaborate with colleagues in the manufacturing department to ensure the seamless production of plastic products by communicating and providing assistance where necessary.
Maintain a clean and organized working area to contribute to safety and well-being of co-workers.

QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a manufacturing setting and/or operating plastic cutting equipment for blow molding, injection molding, and extruder machine products, is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision.
Ability to use simple math arithmetic - addition and subtraction.
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, bilingual is a plus.
Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 25 lbs. repetitively and stand for extended periods.
