CHEMICAL TREATMENT OPERATOR ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES Processes metal parts through the chem treat line (clean/degrease, iron phosphate, aluminum passivation). Loads and unloads parts in chem treat baskets. Understand and follow work order documentation and standard work. Operate crane hoist in a safe and controlled manner. Maintains bath temperature and rinse water quality. Safely handle chemicals and make chemical additions to treatment baths. Assist with tank cleanout activities. The position will assist in the development and improvement of company operating procedure under its Lean Manufacturing Continuous Improvement Program.
