    Job DescriptionSalary: $22 -$40 Hour DOE LaRiviere, Inc. is looking for skilled heavy equipment operators for heavy civil work in the Coeur d Alene, Idaho and Spokane Washington areas . Operators will be operating a wide variety of equipment including loaders, excavators, rollers, dozers, bobcats, water trucks and be expected to assist with labor tasks when not operating. Primary Job Function: Ability to operate construction related heavy equipment (Excavator, Skid-steer, bulldozer, backhoe, front end loader, grader, articulating haul truck, etc.) proficiently and safely at all times and in all types of conditions. Ability to communicate effectively with ground personnel and/or other operators using universal hand signals. Position requires continuously and frequently bending, climbing stairs/steps, sitting, lifting up to 50 lbs. (occasionally up to 100lbs with assistance.), repeated push pull motion, simple grasping, fine manipulation. This position will assist with manual labor activities as necessary. Ability to work safely around other moving machinery, exposed to changes in temperature and humidity, dust, fumes, and gases. Required to work in all weather conditions. Duties will vary based on weather and time of season. Reports to: Job Foreman & Superintendent Qualifications / Expectations Heavy Equipment Operating Experience: 3 years (5 years preferred) Valid driver's license with clean driving record (CDL a plus) Ability to operate a variety of construction heavy equipment. Must have reliable transportation to area job sites Strong work ethic and the willingness to report to work on time. Work Hours: Depends on needs of job(s), overtime likely Daily Duties: 1. Show up 15-20 minutes prior to shift 2. Complete a thorough walk around and daily equipment checklist 3. Attend and participate in regular safety meetings 4.
