Job Summary:
Duties and basic tasks of the Transport driver include; operation of motorized vehicles and heavy equipment, delivery of equipment and materials, and minor service repairs. Depending on area of assignment, this position may encounter inclement weather conditions, potential work in hazardous road conditions. Work will require time away from home base. Work in rugged terrain, and high speed traffic conditions. Overtime may be required; including working outside of normal reporting hours. Requires some travel away from duty post. Transports vehicles and large construction equipment, tractor transport. Has authority decision making on work methods and techniques. Considerable on-the-job training learning the scope of duties and basic tasks.
Job Duties:
Transports vehicles and equipment including but not limited to light-duty vehicles, loaders, dozers, motor graders, large trucks, large trailers, variable message boards, cone trucks, power booms, water tankers, rollers, oil boots, attenuators and any other similar equipment, Includes the required maintenance checks, minor servicing to comply with the laws, rules, policies, and procedures.
Processes and performs day to day work activities as requested by supervisors, and managers.
Pick up and deliver parts and related materials to statewide shops.

Pre-Employment Requirements:
Position requires a Class "A" Commercial Driver's license (CDL) . Must retain said license during the period of employment.
A medical/physical evaluation and drug test is required prior to appointment.

Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate driver's license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver's license record checks. Job Description
Perform the functions of data manipulation on the computer network, initiating jobs for production and laser printing on specific printer equipment, staging printed jobs in the production area to ensure a smooth transition flow through production in order to meet the delivery deadlines of each customer while maintaining quality standards.
Shift: Wednesday thru Sunday 8:00AM to 4:00PM
► Key Areas of Responsibility
Works closely with Facility Managers, Production Supervisors and Leads to assist with customer required directives, deliveries, changes, emergencies, problems with data and special files by printing accurately and efficiently. Responsible for minimizing waste and misuse of raw materials.
Communicates well with fellow associates, project coordinators, and the Facility Manager, while performing laser print functions by following daily job schedules. This requires being familiar with all customers, their special needs as well as production schedules to make sure the correct information is communicated.
Completes multiple tasks on multiple printers at the same time to help the work flow process. Juggling the tasks of running the current customer being laminated, printing re-runs and starting the next customer's work based on the schedule of the day.
Uses ERP system to log time and materials. Follows department guidelines for Total Cost Management activities.
Keeps the work order system up to date and organized at all times. Maintaining records of jobs printed, tested and checked via log book and/or computer documents
Ensures printing quality standards are being met by sampling, viewing and checking print jobs are processed.
Helps maintain equipment by placing service calls to appropriate service technicians.
Maintains all inventory levels and pre-printed items that are stored in the warehouse and in the front shelving units in the correct locations.
Ensure data from each customer is arriving on time, and if not, alert a supervisor so they can make necessary notifications/decisions regarding late data.
Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area, uses required PPE, and follows all safety rules and procedures.
May be required to work overtime or on another shift as needed.
Other duties as assigned by management.

HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR:
* Three (3) years of experience in construction, maintenance, and related equipment OR one (1) year of experience as a Pinal County Operator (Trainee).
* Must obtain Class A Arizona State Commercial Driver's License (CDL) "standard transmission" with tanker endorsements within the first 5 months of employment; failure to maintain the required CDL may be grounds for termination.
* Or an equivalent combination of training, education, or experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
Preferred Qualifications:
OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) certification. First Aid / CPR / AED training upon hire.
Basic Work Zone & Traffic Control (Flagger Certification) upon hire.

Special Requirements:
* Trainees who are rehires of less than one year of separation will automatically be placed into the Heavy Equipment Operator Trainee classification until the 6-month requirement is met.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

SeaCa Plastic Packaging's Finishing Department is looking to add an experienced and dedicated Finishing Printer Operator to our team at our Surprise, AZ location. The ideal candidate for this position will be someone who excels working in a demanding and fast paced environment and demonstrates excellent prioritization, decision making and time management skills.
This is an operator level position for work in a manufacturing environment. Training is provided to help you grow your career. You will be joining a crew of 3-9 people working as a team to accomplish the operating goals of the shift. Bonus pay can be earned as a member of the team that achieves their manufacturing goal. Printing press experience is highly preferred.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Read and evaluates job ticket, print card, and CAD drawings, follows production schedules, prioritizes, and organizes.
Sets-up machine, hangs print plates, starts ink pumping, and sets up pre-feeder
Starts/stops machine, registers print within tolerances on the print card and CAD
Checks color against available swatch or sample, adjust the viscosity and PH balance according to spec
Double checks product for the following, but not limited to; sheet quality, print quality, color layout (per print card), and scrap ejecting
Trouble shoot and fix any non- conformance issues, fills out the quality check sheet
Determines appropriate machine speed to meet production goals while maintaining consistent quality
Double checks to make sure load quantities and load tags are correct for the order
Performs a complete inspection of one entire blank (2-out, 3-out, etc.) for each finished load during the run
Maintains inks at optimum performance levels by checking and adjusting PH and Viscosity
Effectively troubleshoots operating problems
Recognize nonconforming products and advises supervisor
Preps for upcoming orders by staging ink and print plates as well as load tags
Inspects to ensure all is correct and/or in good working order
Completes order in computer, fills out last load sheet. Fills out quantity, date, and prints last load tag at correct quantity
Records time, quantity, order number, on Production Report
Inspects tooling when taking off and fills out print die repair form if needed and turns it in to Supervisor
Cross train on other machines
Switch duties with Assistant/helper as necessary
Train and assist assistant/helper with job duties or machine
Performs similar job duties as required

► Key Areas of Responsibility
* Works closely with Facility Managers, Production Supervisors and Leads to assist with customer required directives, deliveries, changes, emergencies, problems with data and special files by printing accurately and efficiently. Responsible for minimizing waste and misuse of raw materials.
* Communicates well with fellow associates, project coordinators, and the Facility Manager, while performing laser print functions by following daily job schedules. This requires being familiar with all customers, their special needs as well as production schedules to make sure the correct information is communicated.
* Completes multiple tasks on multiple printers at the same time to help the work flow process. Juggling the tasks of running the current customer being laminated, printing re-runs and starting the next customer's work based on the schedule of the day.
* Uses ERP system to log time and materials. Follows department guidelines for Total Cost Management activities.
* Keeps the work order system up to date and organized at all times. Maintaining records of jobs printed, tested and checked via log book and/or computer documents
* Ensures printing quality standards are being met by sampling, viewing and checking print jobs are processed.
* Helps maintain equipment by placing service calls to appropriate service technicians.
* Maintains all inventory levels and pre-printed items that are stored in the warehouse and in the front shelving units in the correct locations.
* Ensure data from each customer is arriving on time, and if not, alert a supervisor so they can make necessary notifications/decisions regarding late data.
* Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area, uses required PPE, and follows all safety rules and procedures.
