Production Worker Qualifications and Experience:
Individual must be at least 18 years of age
Industrial or manufacturing experience preferred
Production Worker Responsibilities:
Ability to perform a variety of work tasks with acceptable quality and productivity rates.
Ability to operate industrial equipment, i.e., bindery, packaging, mailing or woodworking machinery.
Responsibility for personal product quality assurance, final inspection and packaging as required.
Basic understanding of equipment in order to identify proper functioning.
Ability to work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors.
Ability to keep production records as required.
Quality - know, understand and follow quality control procedures - complete quality inspections - notify supervisor/lead of any non-conformances.
Authority/responsibility to stop production due to quality issue.
Willingness to complete first aid and CPR training and certification if requested to.
Production Worker Requirements:
Ability to produce at required rate and quality of assigned job.
Ability to facilitate and respond to verbal, written, computerized, fax communications.
Ability to operate production electrical/motor driven equipment and machinery.
Mobility to access various locations within ODC facility.
Ability to perform quality inspection according to ODC's and/or customer's requirements.
Bending, squatting, twisting, reaching, standing, sitting, walking frequently required.
Lifting 25 - 35 lbs frequently - up to 60 pounds occasionally

CNC PROGRAMMER / OPERATOR - CASUAL
Summary of Position
Responsible for programming, set-up and operation of Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machinery per spec/blueprint for wood applications of industrial and craft home decor. The operator must rely on experience and judgement to accomplish goals with above average degree of independence and initiative to complete job requirements in accordance with the production timeline. In addition, candidate may be asked to perform various other duties within the Production Department.
Training and Experience
Industrial or manufacturing experience is required. Good computer, math, communication and organizational skills. Minimum of two years related work experience operating a CNC. This position requires pre-employment and annual background checks.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities/Essential Functions
Programs, set up and/or operate assigned equipment to produce quality products per spec.
Review set up sheets and specifications to determine setup procedure, machine sequence, and dimensions of finished work piece.
Enters commands to retrieve programmed machine instructions from database and machine control console.
Manipulates controls and enters commands to index cutting tool to specified set point and start machine. Observes and listens to machine operation to detect malfunctions such as worn or damaged cutting tool.
Product finishing including dip staining and painting.
Train and assist other operators in machine operation and trouble-shooting.
Has basic understanding of G-code systems.
Graphic design experience a plus.
Inspects product and document data as required.
Able to perform general math calculations.
Able to read and interpret drawings.
Ability to use and read measurement tools.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Perform and document routine maintenance.
Keep production areas clean and safe.
Maintain daily production sheets.
Ability to perform a variety of work tasks with acceptable quality and productivity rates.
Physical Requirements
