The Position
Kaiser Permanente Southern California is currently seeking a full-time pediatric hospitalist to join our team in San Bernardino County, CA. The successful candidate will join a team of 9 pediatric hospitalists, 6 intensivists and 6 hybrid/per-diem physicians that provide 24/7 coverage. We are a community hospital with a 24-bed pediatric ward, 10- bed PICU, 2 newborn nurseries and 2 NICUs.
Our primary work is on the pediatric ward and providing consultations in our Kaiser emergency departments. Additionally, we do have a critical care transport team that members of our team have the opportunity to participate in. We also have residents and medical students on our service and have opportunities to be faculty at the Kaiser Permanente Medical School and University of Riverside Medical School. Kaiser also has a robust quality improvement and research infrastructure.
We are looking for a pediatric hospitalist that is dedicated to patient care, wants to help improve quality and safety, and contribute to the continued expansion of our service. Leadership opportunities are available once integrated into the group.
