Primary diagnoses: TBI, NTBI, TSCI, NTSCI, neuro condition, LE fracture, LE replacement, other ortho, LE amputation, rheumatoid arthritis, cardiac/pulmonary DEB, MMT w/out TBI or SCI, MMT w/ TBI or SCI, and guillain barre
Medical Consultations to manage chronic medical conditions and acute medical illnesses, assist with determining outpatient medical needs and follow-up, and to provide support for medical emergencies when on duty.
The inpatient psychiatry unit is a 20-bed unit with an average census of 7.
Psychiatry staff of 1 inpatient psychiatrist and psychiatric nursing, in addition to consult liaison acute psychiatry provider team on our main campus.
Medical Consultations to manage chronic medical conditions and acute medical illnesses, assist with determining outpatient medical needs and follow-up, and to provide support for medical emergencies when on duty.
Medical-type patients such as long-term IV antibiotic patients or custodial level of care, who would benefit from psychiatric programming while awaiting discharge, are also admitted to this unit, on occasion
