The Neonatology Division consists of 36 neonatologists with a wide spectrum of interests, providing opportunity for candidates to find collaboration and support for an individualized professional career pathway. Position Clinical Duties: Collaborate with a neonatologist to treat complex patients, in a procedural oriented specialty. The position would begin as a full-time, front-line neonatal provider in the Children's Mercy Hospital NICU. Following an appropriate orientation to the NICU, to include proficiency in life-saving procedures (intubation, umbilical lines, etc), credentialing at other metropolitan hospital NICUs, which the Division of Neonatology serves, can be considered. Additional opportunities, such as the circumcision team or providing sole care to level 1-2 NICU patients, are possible.
