Job Summary
The Hospitalist is responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals admitted to the hospital. This role involves diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions, managing complex cases, and ensuring effective communication with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
Responsibilities
Patient Care:
Conduct thorough evaluations, including taking medical histories and performing physical exams.
Diagnose and manage a variety of medical conditions and diseases.
Develop and implement treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work and imaging studies.
Perform medical procedures as necessary and within scope of practice.
Coordination and Communication:

Provide discharge planning and patient education to ensure continuity of care after hospitalization.
Documentation:

Quality Improvement:
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices.

Emergency Response:
