Manage ocular emergencies and refer patients to outside specialists when necessary.

Duties include the following.
Provide vision examinations
Perform exams/tests on all applicable ophthalmologic equipment to assess claims
Maintains compliance with all current organizational, state, and federal regulations pertaining to Optometry job specifications
Prepare for and deliver exceptional patient handling and care during all interactions
Complete and submit all required documentation promptly and completely, including DBQs in the required format
Performs all duties and tasks as assigned by management
Education/Experience:
Active, uninterrupted, unincumbered licensure: Optometry (required), will consider ophthalmology license
Bachelor's degree in associated field with a 4-year Doctor of Optometry degree
Minimum one year of active experience in performing optometric exams preferred
Technological Skills:
Experienced in one or more major Electronic Health Records
Solid knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams)
