Optometrist - Part-Time Classification: Exempt, Part-time Reporting Relationship: Reports to the Chief Medical Officer Supervision Requirements: No Essential Role: Provides professional optometric services to complement the delivery of primary health care services at GraceMed Health Clinic; provides clinical leadership to support staff. Duties & Responsibilities: Examines eyes to diagnose vision problems and eye diseases; tests patients' visual acuity, depth and color perception with ability to focus and coordinate the eyes. Prescribes eyeglasses. Analyzes test results and develops treatment plans. The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) provides the full spectrum of anesthesia services independently, without anesthesiologist supervision, in alignment with Kansas state scope of practice laws. Working in a rural critical access environment, the CRNA supports inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and procedural care across a variety of clinical departments. This advanced practice nurse plays a vital role in ensuring safe, evidence-based, and compassionate anesthesia delivery for surgical and procedural patients. Duties may include but are not limited to: · Independently evaluate patients preoperatively to determine appropriate anesthesia plans. · Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care across multiple specialties. · Perform and manage airway techniques, including endotracheal intubation and LMA insertions. · Place and manage regional anesthesia blocks (spinal, epidural, peripheral nerve blocks). · Manage intraoperative anesthetic care, continuously adjusting for patient needs. · Provide post-anesthesia recovery evaluation and management. · Partner with rural surgical teams, emergency staff, and specialty providers to coordinate care. · Participate in patient safety initiatives, case reviews, and quality improvement efforts. · Educate patients and families about anesthesia plans, risks, and postoperative recovery expectations.
