Amar A. Desai, MD is a President and Chief Executive Officer, Optum Pacific West at Optum and Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at Keck School of Medicine of USC and is based in Greater Los Angeles Area. He has worked as Vice President, Strategic Development at DaVita; Chief Medical Officer at Paladina Health; and Adjunct Clinical Instructor at Stanford University School of Medicine. Amar works or has worked as President- Healthcare Partners California- Coastal Region at DaVita. He studied at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health between 2000 and 2002, Brown University between 1993 and 1997, and Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University between 1997 and 2002.

Andreas Turanski leads the Spreemo Health's technology efforts and spearheads the strategy for development of new, innovative solutions to enable greater payer and provider collaboration and improved tools to enhance patient care. He bringing over 20 years of experience leading high-performing technology teams to solve challenging problems in startups and large companies. Most recently, SVP of Engineering at Jibe (a growth stage SaaS company), and prior to that the Chief Technology Officer of Patch.com, responsible for re-aligning the company’s technology efforts. Prior to joining Patch, Andreas was at AOL where he lead the Technology Strategy group for AOL Services, as well as the Social, Community and Identity Platform Engineering, and AOL Entertainment Engineering. He has also held technology leadership roles at The Spoken Hub, ClubMom.com, Bluefly, and MicroStrategy. He holds a BA in Computer Science from MIT where he was headed into a life of Artificial Intelligence research before deciding to jump into the media and technology industry. Andreas lives in New York City with his son and enjoys bicycling and volunteering to make a difference.

Austin Pittman most recently served as Chief Executive Officer of OptumCare and Executive Vice President United Health Group , Enterprise Heathcare Value.

After a decades long career as an executive leader with UHG, Austin now serves on boards of growing companies both in and out of the health care industry. Pittman has recently co-founded Blue Norther, a new and exciting beverage brand out of Austin, TX.

During her third year of medical school, it was an experience caring for one particular patient at the end of life that left an impression on Azalea. Unable to speak for herself and without a designated healthcare proxy, her patient's care at end of life was invasive and poor in quality. That experience motivated her to tackle this important issue in patient care and sparked the idea that has become TrueNorth. Azalea's prior experiences include work with Montefiore Pioneer Accountable Care Organization, Kaiser Permanente Health Plan Community Benefit, and the Commonwealth Fund. Her research has been published in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), Health Affairs, and General Hospital Psychiatry. She received her BA from Princeton University in the Woodrow Wilson School, her MPA from the George Washington University, and her MBA from Harvard Business School. She will earn her MD from the Icahn School of Medicine of Mount Sinai in 2014.

Chris Singer is a SVP, Chief Experience Office & Strategic Leader of Omega at Optum and is based in Las Vegas Metropolitan Area. He has worked as Director of Guest Relations at HR Training department; SVP, Chief Experience Officer at Optum; and Guest Service Associate at Hilton Worldwide Holdings Inc.. Chris attended Fairleigh Dickinson University between 2002 and 2004 and Johnson & Wales University between 1999 and 2001.

Chris Zaetta rejoined UnitedHealth Group as the chief legal officer of Optum in September 2020. He previously held various roles in the legal department at UnitedHealthcare, including the head of litigation and general counsel of the government businesses.

Prior to rejoining UnitedHealth Group, Zaetta was a Worldwide Vice President at Johnson & Johnson, in charge of the company’s global litigation department.

Zaetta began his career in the Attorney General’s Honors Program at the United States Department of Justice Tax Division. While at the Department of Justice, he was awarded the Department’s Outstanding Attorney Award. He also was a litigation partner at the law firm of Hogan Lovells in Washington, D.C., where he worked on a variety of white-collar investigations and civil litigation matters.

Zaetta graduated first in his class from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and was the Law Review editor. He has a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Experienced Risk Management and Compliance executive with a demonstrated history of growth and innovation in the banking and financial services industries. Skilled in designing and implementing appropriate governance and oversight frameworks for lending and deposit products, payment systems, new product development, acquisitions due diligence and integration, and operational implementation. Functional expertise in banking laws and regulation; Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) governance; compliance program management and oversight; regulatory relationships, engagement, and exam management; and anti-money laundering and fraud prevention and detection. Previous commissioned federal bank examiner (both Safety and Soundness/Risk and Consumer Protection/Compliance) and current Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM); Certified AML and Fraud Professional (CAFP); and Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC).

Dan Bidinger is a Chief of Staff, Office of the CEO - Optum Health at Optum and is based in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. He has worked as Administrator - Mayo Clinic Care Network & Provider Relations at Mayo Clinic; Assistant Director, Facilities Construction - Regional Office at Veterans Affairs; and Senior Director, Diagnostic Imaging & Critical Care at Providence Health & Services. Dan studied at North Dakota State University between 1981 and 1986 and Augsburg University between 2011 and 2013.
