Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $278,500 - $484,500. Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
The Risk & Quality Specialist works in collaboration to coordinate, administer and oversee the onsite quality and risk management programs. This role will manage, analyze and interpret both risks and performance data to drive key performance measures (KPMs), provides risk and quality education, and comply with Joint Commission standards and other regulatory agencies, with the goal of enhancing and promoting recipient safety, quality of care and minimizing losses to the organization.
* Acts as the Quality Improvement and Risk Management subject matter expert at the site(s), and within committees and associated workgroups.
* Serves as a point of contact for investigation, resolution, and response of internal recipient and external (i.e., Health plan) complaints. In addition, may coordinate with the Director of Licensing and Accreditation on responses to complaints received from the Joint Commission or other Regulatory agencies.
* Works with the site-based staff and facilities to ensure all incidents are documented and reported as required to external regulatory bodies.
* Leads initiatives, in collaboration with site leadership and national Quality leadership, that support improvement of organizational processes for clinical care delivery, business operations and administration.
* Works in conjunction with all necessary individuals and departments in the investigation of potential or actual events concerns, including the auditing of seclusion and restraint footage when necessary. Coordinates and participates in root cause analysis investigations as appropriate.
* Exercises discretion and independent judgement on identifying opportunities for improvement and driving performance outcomes, this includes identifying opportunities to prevent, reduce, and control loss to the organization, its patients, visitors, and employees. Coordinates with leadership to develop strategies, implement practices, and assists with the creation policy to address the identified areas of improvement.
* Coordinates, tracks, and monitors performance and process improvement outcomes, as well as data tracking and trending analysis.
* Completes and documents facility inspections every 6 months, or as needed, to identify areas of risk and/or improvement to ensure compliance with regulatory/accreditation standard.
* Coordinates with the appropriate departments regarding site visits or audit requests from state Health regulatory agencies or accrediting bodies.
* Communication with state regulators, when needed, to inquire about state-specific requirements.
* Assist with creating policies to reflect company vision and mission under direction and in collaboration with department leadership.
* Stays abreast of the latest developments, advancements, and trends in the field.

Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
The Behavioral Health Specialist (BHS) manages and maintains the safety of the individuals and staff. Takes vitals and assists individuals in meeting their needs while on the unit by providing exceptional customer service. Documents services provided and significant interactions in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
* Conducts security screening and inventories property of individuals upon admission to the facility. Provides orientation to the Observation Unit and Short-term Inpatient Unit. Educates patients on their rights under ADHS regulations, grievance process, provides expectations, and explains rules and regulations.
* Intervenes with escalated individuals using therapeutic techniques for de-escalation and performs restraints/seclusions when needed to ensure the individual's safety and the safety of others. Completes 1-to-1 on a patient in seclusion or mechanical restraints Q15.
* Lifts, moves, and transports individuals using proper body mechanics or lifting devices for accident prevention.
* Assists individuals with activities of daily living to include eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, and transferring.
* Conducts and documents individual's vitals and reports all questionable results to the RN/Physician attending the individual. Conducts and documents all BAL, urine drug screens, and urine pregnancy tests.
* Attends court ordered hearings when subpoenaed. Must be willing to be a witness on a petition and available to provide testimony at court ordered hearings.

The Clinical Supervisor (Therapist) provides oversight and supervision to behavioral health professionals at our Phoenix, AZ location. This role is pivotal in ensuring that clinical services meet state standards and are delivered effectively to our clients.

Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
The Mental Health Therapist provides services to include the following: individual therapy, group counseling, life skills sessions, clinical interventions, crisis management, family therapy, and assists in case management and support system development.
* Conducts a thorough, accurate, clinically sound Psychosocial Assessment with the individual in a timely manner. Maintains the clinic record, including documentation of activities performed as part of the service delivery process. Obtains signatures from patient regarding treatment, as necessary.
* Provides internal education regarding DBT, trauma informed care, harm reduction, and service plan documentation.
* Prepares clinical reports and individualized service plans utilizing agency electronic clinical documentation software. Ensures documentation complies with best clinical practices, contracts, regulatory and other legal requirements.
* Maintains a working knowledge of the Arizona Department of Health Services and Arizona Board of Behavioral Health roles within the Arizona behavioral health system.
* Conducts brief intervention, individual, family and group counselling within scope of practice. Participates in redirecting individual behavior while maintaining a safe milieu when necessary. Documents all services and individual activities appropriately.
* Provides case management services to promote recovery and community reintegration. Conducts crisis interventions and follow up as necessary.
* Follows up with appropriate leadership regarding all cases on a weekly basis.

Qualifications
What You'll Bring:
* Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field
* Unrestricted license as Licensed Mental Health Professional in Arizona (LMSW. LAC, LCSW, LMFT, LPC or equivalent)
* Minimum of 2 years of direct experience in mental health, substance abuse treatment or relevant work providing psychotherapy to both individuals and groups in a clinical or behavioral health setting
* Knowledge of principles of recovery, family of origin/intergenerational issues, and co-occurring psychiatric disorders
* Knowledge and experience working with special populations (Those individuals identified as having serious mental illness, substance abuse diagnoses, brain injuries and those over 60 years of age)
Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

The Palliative Care Physician will manage high risk patients coming in and out of the hospital, or those with life-limiting illnesses. The physician will lead the team in high-risk patient care and the transition of care management. They will specialize in medical care that focuses on providing relief from pain and other symptoms related to chronic/serious illness. The aim is to provide comfort and improve quality of life for those suffering from chronic/serious illness. Palliative care is provided in tandem with regular treatment and in partnership with the patient's primary care provider. The palliative program primarily manages care in the patient's home; however, care may be appropriate or require in- office visits depending on the needs of the patient. Palliative Care requires a coordinated team approach, you must be able to have collaborative communication/interaction with other providers, nutritionists, social workers, nurses, etc.

What You'll Do:
The Behavioral Health Specialist (BHS) manages and maintains the safety of the individuals and staff. Takes vitals and assists individuals in meeting their needs while on the unit by providing exceptional customer service. The Family Medicine Physician will specialize in caring for the physical, mental and emotional well-being of their patients and their families. They are trained to care for all ages, from children age 5 to senior adults. Because family practitioners are trained to treat the whole person, these specialists diagnose and treat the full range of problems people bring to their doctors. In most cases, a referral from a family doctor is not necessary to schedule an appointment with a Kelsey-Seybold specialist, but the family doctor is an important part of the multispecialty team. The family doctor coordinates care with specialty physicians and other members of a patient's care team.
Primary Responsibilities:
See patients in an outpatient setting Monday-Friday from 8a - 5p to include new patients as well as corporate physicals
Participate in the Family Medicine Call single call group. On-Call for the group is about once per month, either on the weekday or weekend day. The weekend day is shared with another physician. Call consists of answering phone calls from patients of physicians in the call group.

The Kelsey-Seybold Clinic Hospitalist Program provides specialized, efficient and coordinated care for our hospitalized patients. The hospitalist observes his or her patient's status, progress and tests results up to several times a day, as needed.
Primary Responsibilities:
Main responsibilities are rounding in the assigned hospital(s) 7am to approximately 5pm (schedule varies)
Participate in hospital call schedule - taking call with other hospitalists and internists in the call group. Not typically require to stay overnight in hospital
