Great training, the ability to grow and change positions
Oracle is great but have so many employees for each position you may end up doing a lot of one thing. Ex: Only working on antivirus, imaging, pulling cable, Windows Servers, etc. I loved it and the people on my team.
Gym, free drinks, soup, espresso. Each building had a restaurant.
My boss and his had an effortless way of talking with you to determine priorities.
My team and I were always pushing hard to get as much done as possible. We called it working in the "red line". Since we always made our deadlines (with high quality) it might have been nice to work slower.
Talked with other Oracle employees, discussed the position, and actually played basketball with a VP.
Within the industry it was known as fair. As a typical US job, it was above average.
Very diverse. People of all walk of life are welcome and represented.
Being encouraged to work within a well defined process.
Work-life balance is great.
The salary is too low.
The benefits are great, health insurance.
Oracle pays well and has good benefits. If you are able to make your organization's target numbers, the quarterly bonuses are quite generous.
Oracle is a very difficult company to work for - not because its clients or products, but because of how large the organization is, how siloed, and how bureaucratic it is. Also, while it says it's a people based organization, it's decisions and how it treats people are not people based. It will always come down to the numbers.
The quarterly bonuses
Hard to get a salary increase. Old tech stack.
Tech stack. Lot of Burocracy.
An excellent office environment that encouraged teamwork.
Limited upward mobility and pay rate.
Good job benefits- 401k and health care package
its diversities and multinational image and background
promotion for non sales employees is rather slow
health and travel insurance, training programmes
You're employed
No salary increases; unlimited work to accomplish; Hardly any overtime
401k
Opportunity for growth and to work anywhere globally
Work - Life balance hardly possible
flexible vacation/theoretical unlimited paid time off, no counting for hours or arguing/discussing with anyone when you got covid...
World class solutions, brand recognition and excellent career opportunities.
Sales quota's not realistic and pockets of old school management styles.
Compensation is competitive and healthcare benefits are strong.
Innovation, Superior Cloud Solutions and Technology
compensation, severance packages
Work from home
It is a self-service meritocracy and that makes possibilities numerous.
N/A
All perks package.
The work life balance and benefits.
I didn't like be so low on the food chain. I also wish I could travel and be more involved with bigger deals.
Healthcare/ 401K
Family run business
Limited growth potential and salary
Bonuses and payed time off
Incredibly talented yet humble colleagues
Staying away from wife
Opportunity to learn
The challenges especially. I also enjoy working with bright people.
The hours can be difficult at times. There is a LOT of Over Time which makes a work/life balance tough to manage.
The unlimited vacation is great.
