1953
The Orange Grove Center is a private non-profit organization, serving adults and children with intellectual and or disabilities IDD . The agency was founded in 1953 by a group of Chattanooga parents and community leaders who were seeking services for children with disabilities.
2001
His death marks the 10th the state has investigated since 2001.
In 2001, a report shows a resident was found not breathing.
2005
Hauth, who has served as Orange Grove's executive director since July, 2005, announced his retirement in April.
2016
Cliftina K. Jones was charged with criminally negligent homicide in the 2016 death of 60-year-old Carrie Parkey, a resident of Orange Grove.
2017
Kilbride, who retired as CEO of the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce in 2017 after heading the business association for three years, currently also serves on the board of the Tennessee Valley Authority.
The Orange Grove resident was found dead inside a transport van in 2017.
2020
A welcome reception will begin at 5 30 p.m. followed by dinner at 6 45 p.m. and a program honoring the 2020 Distinguished Honorees.
