Our system spans suburban Fairfield County in Connecticut as well as the Hudson Valley region of New York state, about one hour outside of the New York metropolitan area.
The Chief of Neuro-oncology will report to the system leader of the Nuvance Cancer Program and be responsible for the overall development and ongoing quality of services for the evaluation and treatment of brain and spine tumors. Services will span benign and malignant diseases and primary and metastatic cancer therapies as well as oncologic related neurologic disorders. The system lead for the brain and spine tumor program will establish standards of practice to ensure optimal patient care throughout the Nuvance System and will continually evaluate and improve care delivery processes and outcomes. The position includes organizing tumor boards, pathways, clinical trials, recruitment, and budgeting for this part of the cancer program. Rounding- PA's will work in a team-based environment alongside other PA's and NP's to round on any in-house subspecialty patients.

Floor Procedures- PA will assist in floor procedures including difficult foley insertions and chest tube insertion and removal.
This position is scheduled for three 12-hour shifts per week with a weekend shift and at home on-call obligations. Weekend coverage will be included in the weekly schedule and hours.
