Brian J. Weis is a Chief Growth Officer (Advisor) at Orb Health and is based in Richardson, Texas. Chad Jones is a socially conscious entrepreneur, operational executive, venture investor, and visionary speaker. With more than 25 years’ experience, Mr. Jones has run small and large scale organizations in almost every dimension of business including strategy, development, marketing, product management, sales ops, operations, and more. He splits his time as an investor, board member and operational executive across a wide spectrum of companies. Mr. Jones is a thought leader in many areas including the Internet of Things (IoT), cloud, virtualization, microgrids, and renewable energy technologies. His ability to understand nuanced and converging trends combined with an uncanny sense of market needs drive a unique perspective. He is able to shape powerful strategies that capitalize on differentiated value, and then articulate this value through enlightened positioning and thought leadership. His unique vision takes big ideas from inception through execution resulting in highly profitable outcomes including exits to companies such as Microsoft, VMware, Google, and Intel. As an investor, Mr. Jones has chosen passions near to his heart (beer, wine, etc.) as well as ones that create better outcomes for the planet (alternative energy, interconnected microgrids, wireless electricity, etc.). He has traveled the planet discussing a vision for a better world through the non-intuitive use of converging technologies. Mr. Jones serves on multiple boards, runs his investment fund, Plesso Ventures, Inc., as its CEO as well as oversees Sawiana Solutions, an next-generation microgrid energy company. In his free time, he enjoys beach volleyball, wake boarding, heli-skiing, and finding the next great idea that transforms businesses and lives.
