At Orbital Insight, he’s using his software expertise to create a whole new source of market data for all kinds of industries.

Jim Cook comes to Bloom Energy as a highly regarded executive within the mining and metals industries. With more than 30 years of experience, Jim has a broad and detailed knowledge of materials extraction and refining processes. Jim will further develop Bloom Energy's existing supplies of strategic raw materials and develop new ones in support of Bloom Energy's growth plans. Prior to joining Bloom Energy, Jim spent 25 years with Rio Tinto Iron and Titanium (RTIT) in senior technical, operational and commercial roles and was the President and CEO for the last 6 years of his career. RTIT is a global business with annual sales in excess of $1.5 billion with operations in Canada, South Africa, China and Madagascar. Jim holds B.Sc and PhD degrees in Metallurgy from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow in the UK.

Kevin leads all commercialization strategy and activities for Orbital Insight, as well as leading financial oversight, reporting and strategy. Prior to his role at Orbital Insight, Kevin was the Regional Director for the Americas, Global Banking & Brokerage, for FactSet Research Systems. Kevin joined FactSet in conjunction with the acquisition of Revere Data, LLC, where he was President and CEO. Originally trained as a software engineer, Kevin earned a BBA in Management Information Systems from James Madison University. He earned an MBA in Innovation, Strategy & Information Technology from the EDHEC Business School in Nice, France.

AJ is a seasoned sales executive and leader who has been building sales teams and selling into the enterprise software and FinTech industries for over two decades. Previously AJ was a Senior Managing Director and Head of Global Sales for Eze Software Group, an enterprise software company focused on the asset management industry. In 2002 he became the first sales hire at a Eze Castle Software, and over his 13-year tenure there he was critical in creating a global sales presence with offices in North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Australia and the Middle East. AJ has been a part of two very successful private equity deals. The first was the creation of ConvergEx (a merger of Eze Castle Software and BNY, Mellon’s sell side trading business) to GTCR, and the second was the sale of the Eze Castle Software and RealTick Data from ConvergEx to TPG Capital.

I'm a technology executive and entrepreneur who loves to design, build and deploy software. I have started two companies and built a number of different products - desktop, web, mobile, hybrid, cloud and AI/ML. I’ve worked in small startups (Zerista, Ubisense, Pattern), mid-size companies (Smallworld) and large corporations (GE Power). I have deep experience in cloud computing, geospatial technology, agile development, CI/CD and SaaS systems. I have run multiple development teams and believe in lean, passionate and agile teams that iteratively deliver on customer requirements on-time and on budget.
