Prior to Orchid, was the CFO for Dexter Axle-a billion-dollar market leader who has been engineering and manufacturing trailer axles and parts for over 60 years. Dexter was successfully sold as a part of DexKo to Brookfield Business Partners in October 2021.

As CFO, key focus is to build a finance and IT organizations to be true partners to the businesses-drives growth, strives for operational excellence, expands margins, and acquires and integrates companies to better serve our customers and add value.

Nate Folkert is a Chief Executive Officer at ORCHID ORTHOPEDIC SOLUTIONS. He has worked as VP/Gen Mgr:US Orthopedics at CONMED CORP, Gen Mgr:Canadian Operations at Zimmer Biomet Holdings Inc., and Pres:Trauma at Zimmer Biomet Holdings Inc.. Nate studied at Notre Dame de Namur University and United States Military Academy at West Point.

Kristie joined Orchid in January 2022. Prior to joining Orchid, she served as the Senior Executive Director of General Electric’s Edison Works Programs & Operations team, supporting the future of military combat and space. Prior to joining the Edison Works team, Kristie was the Senior Executive for the Tubes & Ducts Value Stream in GE Aviation’s Supply Chain organization. She also held a number of leadership roles within GE, including Director of Operations for Unison Industries (a GE company); Executive Plant Leader for Avio Aero (a GE company), in Torino, Italy; Supply Chain Strategy Leader for GE Aviation; and CF6 Customer Programs Leader. Prior to GE, Kristie held various leadership roles in manufacturing with Navistar (Indianapolis, IN) and Carrier Global Corporation (Texas & North Carolina). Kristie is a Six Sigma Black Belt and a Master Black Belt and holds a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Purdue University’s Polytechnic Institute.

Matt Tharp is a Chief Financial Officer at ORCHID ORTHOPEDIC SOLUTIONS. He has worked as CFO:Americas at AMMEGA GROUP BV.

Angie joined Orchid in 2020 as Chief Human Resource Officer. Prior to joining Orchid, she spent more than 18 years at Stryker, where she held roles of increasing responsibility and influence. She has a wide breath of experience in Human Resources, Operations, Regulatory and Compliance. In her last role she ran Diversity, Inclusion and Engagement for the entire corporation. Angie has a passion for people, driving engagement and developing talent. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan.

Josh joined Orchid in 2021 with 20 years of experience in the medical device industry. Prior to joining Orchid, he served as the Vice President of Orthopedic Sales at Conmed. In addition to Conmed, he previously held various roles at Smith and Nephew, Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson. Josh earned a Bachelor of Science degrees in Industrial Engineering from Michigan State University and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
