For more information, please visit ******************** SHIFT LAN - Shift 1 ($0) (United States of America - Michigan) A BRIEF OVERVIEW The Shipping/Receiving Associate II is responsible for shipping finished product to the customer according to the daily shipping log, receiving product as it arrives and transporting product between buildings. WHAT YOU WILL DO Issue material to jobs based on FIFO and lot requirements- work with production scheduling if questions come up. Operate forklift for loading finished goods into the box truck Receive product directly into ERP system for traceability. Conduct cycle counts on KANBAN items as needed and help support KANBAN process to mitigate running out of items needed. Package and ship product to customers according to Customer Requirement Sheet. Wrap and package all parts for shipment and ensure proper paperwork is attached/enclosed. Perform functions in the "Made 2 Manage" MRP system such as receipt of product/materials and placing product in finished goods. Perform weekly housekeeping per 6S schedule. May move parts to and from finished goods. Work directly with the production coordinators to establish the products to be shipped each day. Prepare pick lists for daily shipments. Package and prepare orders for shipment per customer specifications. Enter shipping and inventory related transaction in ERP system. Prepare shipping envelopes for paperwork/small items that may come from administrative employees. Conduct inventory transactions to move F/G's into inventory. Conduct cycle counts for F/G's inventory on a regular basis. Verify Quality Certification and packing lists are free from errors. Ship samples to the respective lab companies. Prepare international shipment documents. Backup for receiving. Unloading of Freight Trucks. Pull Jobs for Machining Move Material between buildings. WHAT YOU WILL DO Machine Operator, Forging Press reports directly to the area Supervisor. Performs basic machining functions to produce parts. Operates multiple machines simultaneously.
