Job Description A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN WAREHOUSE ORDER SELECTOR The position is 3rd shift, Sunday through Thursday starting at 6pm. You are responsible for filling customer orders in a safe, productive, and accurate manner. Products are hand-selected and strategically placed on pallets that are eventually loaded onto our fleet of trucks (not a pick and pack process). JOB DETAILS: Sunday - Thursday night schedule, start @ 6pm until work is complete Base Pay at $23 per hour in 90-day training period with immediate bonus incentives! Activity Based Compensation after training making $25 to $30 per hour! $200 per month Attendance bonus! $1500 training bonus after successful completion of 90-day training period! POSITION SUMMARY: This role is responsible to complete orders by selecting products from the warehouse racks and to assemble, palletize and/or shrink wrap products/pallets for customer orders. An Order Selector may be required to use a variety of powered industrial equipment and may be required to work in dry or cooled product areas including refrigerated and freezer compartments. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Locate and lift cases, boxes, bags, and/or pallets of dry groceries, frozen foods, dairy products, produce, poultry, fish, beef, pork and related products in specific quantities for delivery to customers by using order sheets or an audio headset. Operate powered industrial equipment (e.g. single and double pallet jacks). Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including conducting inspections of powered industrial equipment using a safety checklist. Report damaged products, quality issues, and out-of-stock/low volume products. Utilize proper wrapping techniques to ensure safety of product to prevent damages. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed. WHAT YOU'LL NEED: High school diploma or GED preferred. Prior order selecting experience preferred. Prior experience operating power industrial equipment preferred. Must perform assigned tasks accurately while meeting production standards in a fast-paced warehouse operation. Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment in accordance with Company safety policies and procedures. Ability to work in multi-temperature areas as assigned (e.g. freezer, coolers, dry conditions). Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions. As a 2nd Shift Order Selector, you'll play a crucial role in preparing customer orders with speed, accuracy, and care. Working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, you'll help ensure that businesses, restaurants, and communities receive the products they rely on every day. What You'll Do Pick and stage products using a stand-up pallet rider Ensure order accuracy and apply proper labeling Move pallets to designated dry, refrigerated, or freezer zones Load trucks in route order for efficient delivery Follow safety check procedures and maintain a clean workspace What We're Looking For Must be 18+ years old Able to lift 35-60 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift Ability to speak, read, and write English Detail-oriented and accurate when reading, labeling, and handling inventory Dependable and safety-minded with a strong work ethic Excellent attendance and punctuality Schedule Sunday through Thursday 5:00 PM start time until shift completion Expect 40-50 hours per week Pay & Benefits Compensation for this position ranges from $17.00 up to $20.00 per hour.
