The **Order Processing Representative - Warehousing & Inventory** works in all areas of the Distribution Department, including the mailroom, shipping, final inspect/shrink wrapping, warehousing, receiving, product assembly, manifest operation and operation of a sit-down and stand-up forklift. Additional duties are performed upon request of the manager.
The Order Processing Representative - Warehousing & Inventory must have strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with others in a team-oriented environment. A strong aptitude of software usage is required since the position uses SAP applications, Microsoft Office 365, and other PC or web applications.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ The Distribution Department ships approximately 4,000 Customer Orders annually.
+ Products from multiple vendor/supplier purchase orders are received, processed and tracked for inventory control daily.
**Job Duties Include:**
**Shrink-Wrap & Final Inspection:**
+ Maintain and set-up of shrink-wrap machines.
+ Processes product through the shrink-wrap operation.
**Stock Picking/Wrapping:**
+ Gathers (picks) orders from various locations within Distribution per picking slips.
+ Packs orders appropriately for shipping.
+ Computer look-ups, e.g., inventory locations and quantities.
**Operates** **Forklift/Warehousing:**
+ Operation of conventional sit-down and stand-up forklift to move product within warehouse and load/unload trucks.
+ Performs minor maintenance on machines.
+ Replenishes stock locations.
**Product Assembly:**
+ Gathers (picks) and assembles products per Sales Order.
**Receiving:**
+ Verifies incoming items for accuracy against P.O., Bill of Lading, etc.
**Miscellaneous:**
+ Communicates efficiently and effectively with all departments within Wolters Kluwer and external vendors.
+ Performs other tasks as requested by management.
+ Trains and monitors temporary help during special projects.
**_The preferred shift hours are 10:00am - 6:00pm_**
**JOB QUALIFICATIONS**
**Required Education** :
+ High school degree or equivalent.
**Required Experience:**
+ 3 years job related experience.
+ Microsoft Office 365.
