Properly seal the carton and apply proper stamping and label(s) while making certain that stamp is legible and the correct code date is on each carton. Move the packed cartons of finished product to the designed stacking area and then place the stacks of cartons together in the correct configuration in preparation for pick-up by the forklift operator. Sets aside defective product for re-work or scrapping while making certain that no defective product is shipped to the customer. Work at an efficient and safe pace to keep packing bins or stacking tubes clear. Assures a smooth flow of product through the packing process by responding to any product jams (bells, buzzers or lights), clearing the product jam and restarting the equipment properly and safely. Follow safety procedures when starting, shutting down, un-jamming or tying the tail on a bagger. Adheres to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety, HACCP and SQF process requirements and sanitation guidelines rectify and or report any and all non-compliance to Management along with maintaining a high level of personal hygiene.
