About the Job
What does a JVI Order Picker do? Your primary focus will be accurately and efficiently selecting, building/stacking, wrapping, tagging, and loading orders for our customers, big and small. It's the most important job in our company! You'll become an expert in handling fresh fruits and vegetables.
Order Pickers in our warehouse don't just select orders. You'll also assist with receiving, loading, cooler maintenance, and inventory. This position may also be required to deliver products to local customers if the need arises.
What's it like in our coolers?
+ Temperature: Our warehouse ranges in temperature from 32-65°F - but don't worry, we provide a few layers. Plus our breakroom is warm and well stocked with coffee, tea, and water.
+ Activity Level: You'll be moving around pretty much all day from cooler to cooler. We'll supply you with an electric pallet jack, but there is a lot of hop-on hop-off.

About the Job
What does a JVI Order Picker do? Your primary focus will be accurately and efficiently selecting, building/stacking, wrapping, tagging, and loading orders for our customers, big and small. It's the most important job in our company! You'll become an expert in handling fresh fruits and vegetables.
Order Pickers in our warehouse don't just select orders. You'll also assist with receiving, loading, cooler maintenance, and inventory. This position may also be required to deliver products to local customers if the need arises.
What's it like in our coolers?
Temperature: Our warehouse ranges in temperature from 32-65°F - but don't worry, we provide a few layers. Plus our breakroom is warm and well stocked with coffee, tea, and water.
Activity Level: You'll be moving around pretty much all day from cooler to cooler. We'll supply you with an electric pallet jack, but there is a lot of hop-on hop-off.
Safety First: We are a SAFETY FIRST culture here at JVI - full stop. We have policies in place to ensure this is a safe, healthy environment for you and all our team members.

What does a JVI Order Picker do? Your primary focus will be accurately and efficiently selecting, building/stacking, wrapping, tagging, and loading orders for our customers, big and small. It’s the most important job in our company! You’ll become an expert in handling fresh fruits and vegetables.
Order Pickers in our warehouse don’t just select orders. You’ll also assist with receiving, loading, cooler maintenance, and inventory.
What’s it like in our coolers?
Temperature: Our warehouse ranges in temperature from 32-65°ree;F – but don’t worry, we provide a few layers. Plus our breakroom is warm and well stocked with coffee, tea, and water.
Activity Level: You’ll be moving around pretty much all day from cooler to cooler. We’ll supply you with an electric pallet jack, but there is a lot of hop-on hop-off.
Safety First: We are a SAFETY FIRST culture here at JVI – full stop. We have policies in place to ensure this is a safe, healthy environment for you and all our team members.
Warehouse Intensity: While you’re busy picking orders, our cash and carry customers may also be selecting their own orders in the cooler. Be prepared to navigate during busy hours.
Collaboration: You’ll work closely with our sales team to ensure that orders are picked correctly.
Dress Code: We require that you wear sturdy, closed-toed shoes (preferably comfortable ones!) with socks and long pants. You’ll also need to wear a Hi-Vis reflector jacket when on the job, which we will provide. We ask that your clothing does not have any potentially offensive writing or drawings, but outside of that: be you!
