Packaging equipment includes a Meheen bottling line, Cask filler, Krones Craftmate filler, Pneumatic Angelus seamers, and IDD kegging equipment. Schedule: Typical operating hours range between 5 AM - midnight and average shifts run between 7 and 9 hours. Most production currently happens between Mon-Fri but we expect to add some weekend and night shifts in the not too distant future so scheduling flexibility is a must. We aim for a 40 hour work week most weeks and offer overtime when production demands merit it. Holidays scheduling varies year-to-year but we generally plan our production schedule to accommodate time off around Thanksgiving and Christmas. Our location in Olive Branch, MS is currently seeking a full-time experienced Parcel Picker to work on our 1st shift. The working hours will be Monday-Friday 6:00am -3:00pm. As a Picker, you will be responsible for filling customer orders and delivering them to the staging platform in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security and productivity. The parcel picker is responsible for the completeness and correctness of all orders filled. You will be required to cross train in order to learn other positions in the warehouse. Essential Functions: Pick items to match customer orders Building boxes or other packaging materials to ship customer orders that will prevent damage during shipping Able to read and interpret a pick ticket Must have a high level of accuracy Place shipping labels on completed customer orders Ability to operate an Electric Pallet Jack Qualifications: Must have at least 1 year of warehouse experience Prior experience operating the Electric Pallet Jack required Able to read and interpret customer orders and safety procedures Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds. Prolonged periods of standing and walking on concrete. Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching. Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including hot and cold temperatures. Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and handling small items. PAY & BENEFITS $18.20/hr - 25 cent shift differential SUMMARY: In assigned area of warehouse, sweep, mop, pick up trash and empty trash containers and general cleaning responsibility to insure the sanitation requirements for the facility are properly met. Travel throughout the facility either by foot or riding an electric operated pallet jack or tugger unit. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The individual must have the ability to perform the responsibilities listed below. The list is not all inclusive of duties that may be requested by the department head or a member of upper management but are intended for an understanding of the purpose of the position. It is the responsibility of each individual at AWG to provide ultimate customer service to our members to support their efforts in increasing same store sales and profits. Sweep floor areas with broom by hand and pick up any broken boards, plastic, tape or any other trash. This includes sweeping out empty slot locations as well as moving pallets of product with pallet jack to sweep out area. Mop floor with water and or various cleaning solutions to maintain floor and to clean up any liquid spills that may have occurred. Pick up by hand any damaged cases by hand and transport them to the damage/recoup area and/or pick up cases off floor and place them in their respective location. Empty trash bin locations by hand and transporting bags to dumpster. Empty plastic recyclable bins and transport plastic to recyclable area. Use gas operated blower unit to blow out dust and trash from various locations within the warehouse. Use gas operated pressure washer unit to clean floors and other areas as assigned. May have duties outside of the warehouse facility to sweep or clean outside dock areas from trash and/or empty trash containers by hand.
