Job Description
The Stock Associate maintains effectiveness of merchandise flow, filling and presentation standards throughout the store and stock. What You'll Do
* Unload and receive inbound furniture orders which will require manually moving large, heavy goods.

You will contribute by:
+ Ensure accuracy of work and adherence to production and safety standards
+ Utilize necessary pick sheet or technology (e.g. voice, scanner) to select product.
+ Operate double walkie-rider or pallet jack to remove case(s) of product from storage rack and place on pallet and stick selection labels to the appropriate cases (not in all cases)
+ Move pallet on an electric pallet jack or walkie-rider until full or order is complete then transport pallets to shipping dock for delivery to retail stores.

Duties:
Perform various warehouse duties such as order picking, building pallets, and loading/unloading trucks by hand or using forklifts, tractors, or other equipment.

Breakdown and restack product from pallets
Product and quantity verification
Wrap pallets
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
Must have Minimum 1 year prior warehouse experience
Double Electric pallet jack experience (preferred)
Contingent of passing drug screen and background check
Authorized to work in the U.S.A.
Ability to work as a team and individually
Steel toe shoes required upon hire!

What to Expect?
The Warehouse Associate supports the team and our customers by accurately and safely receiving/pulling orders in a fast-paced environment.
On a daily basis our Warehouse Associate:
* Accurately pulls, fills, packs and sets up orders for delivery or pickup.
* Assists in loading the delivery truck.
* Receives shipments, logs into inventory, maintains inventory through audits.
* Communicates positively with supervisors, sales staff, fellow workers and customers to coordinate deliveries/pick-up.
* Operates a forklift safely and efficiently, maintains required certification, performs vehicle safety checks and reports discrepancies to supervisor.
* Assists in keeping facility clean, neat, safe and operating efficiently.
* Other duties as assigned.
What You Will Need:
* High school diploma or GED.
* Ability to maneuver heavy objects, some weighing up to 100 pounds.
* Prior forklift experience.
* Follow and carry out instructions with minimal supervision.
* Prior experience in distribution, general labor or warehousing preferred.
* To be 18 years of age or older to apply.
