Process domestic shipments of commercial products and samples and international shipments of samples: - Obtain necessary information for shipment import and export clearance - Monitor shipment progress and troubleshoot issues - Obtain shipping quotes - Schedule shipments with agents, carriers and warehouses - Prepare, review and maintain shipping documents accurately - Research relevant regulations and codes - Perform FDA Prior Notice import filings - Coordinate with agents, carriers and warehouses for shipment clearance and delivery - Verify shipment quantities and accuracy - Obtain proof of shipment and delivery - Check for damages and process damage claims with carriers and insurance - Coordinate with quality assurance for internal release of products and documents - Lift, move and package products weighing up to 65 lbs for shipment - Transport packages by car to courier locations and post office 2. Maintain inventory and warehouse: -Maintain warehouse environment in compliance with organic, safety, and FDA regulations - Conduct physical count of stock in warehouse - Check and verify warehouse inventory reports for accuracy - Monitor inventory levels and prepare reports - Maintain and update inventory records - Labeling and relabeling of products - Clean and organize stock, samples, shipping supplies and warehouse 3. Communicate effectively and courteously in English by email, telephone, mail, and in person. 4. Coordinate effectively with Gencor personnel to accomplish tasks. 5. Perform clerical and administrative tasks as assigned. 6. Work on tasks and projects connected with other departments as assigned. 7. Answer the office telephone as the first point of contact for the office. 8. Print, scan and file documents. Knowledge, Skill and Experience: 1. Minimum Education required: Associates (2 year) college degree. 2. Minimum Experience required: 2 years in clerical, administrative and/or shipping work 3. Skills Required: Expertise in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and using internet. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work well as part of a team. Efficient, organized and focused in work. Ability to learn quickly and build knowledge. Creative problem solving. Ability to stand, climb ladders, bend, stoop, lift and move objects weighing up to 65 lbs.
