You are on-the-go throughout your entire shift, using a voice-controlled system to select full-case grocery, frozen and/or other perishable products using a ride-on electric pallet jack. You'll palletize cases and prepare pallets to ship to your local store(s) lifting up to 87 lbs. at any given time to shoulder level and up to 76.5lbs overhead, throughout an entire shift - what a workout! Job Responsibilities * Pick and pack finished goods from inventory based on order specifications. * Verify accuracy of items selected and ensure proper packaging for shipment or transfer. * Performs transfers or products and/or merchandise to and from the warehouse * Responsible for receiving products and merchandise, checking for quality and damage to items, and the proper storage of the delivered products and merchandise * Perform physical inventory as needed * Processes requests for supplies, prepares merchandise for delivery, and prepares packages for shipping according to established procedures * Ensures security of company assets * Follow company safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area. * Maintain accurate records of outgoing orders. * Report low stock levels or shortages to the supervisor promptly. * Requisition additional stock as needed to meet demand. * Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver products to retail locations and pick up merchandise as needed. * Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and in accordance with company standards. * Maintain delivery logs and obtain necessary signatures for proof of delivery. * Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager At Aramark, developing new skills and doing what it takes to get the job done make a positive impact for our employees and for our customers. Qualifications * Previous warehouse experience preferred * Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks * Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal * Basic math and counting skills required * Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs * Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends * Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required. This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
