Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
5+ years of experience in ground-up commercial projects, particularly in the light industrial and/or cold storage sector.

Qualifications and requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institute in Recreational Therapy (CTRS), Music Therapy (MT-BC), Art Therapy (ATR, ATR-BC,ATR-P LPAT), or similar field required.
License: Current CTRS, Certified Music Therapist, or Certified Art Therapist license as required by state regulations.

Repair and Maintenance of building, equipment, and surrounding grounds: The Maintenance Director is responsible for following a system where work orders are prioritized and completed to meet the standards of Bear Creek and owners as well as resident satisfaction. This includes all safety hazards identified by the walk-through
Supervising the Housekeeping Staff: The Maintenance Director supervises all Maintenance Department Personnel and Housekeeping department personnel. This responsibility includes screening, hiring, training, coaching, scheduling, and supervising all staff in the Maintenance and Housekeeping departments. The Maintenance Director is responsible for taking corrective action with staff for poor performance, coaching to improve skills, managing activities to correspond with operational needs, and appropriate documentation and compliance with all human resource guidelines. The Maintenance Director performs all necessary verbal and written disciplinary actions required of policies and procedures, The Maintenance Director assures that all staff maintains appropriate annual training to maintain state requirements. The Maintenance Director is responsible for scheduling and monitoring all staff labor within the budget of the building
Turning around vacated units and reading them for new residents: The Maintenance Director is responsible for reviewing all the rooms when a resident moves out and determining what needs to be done to make it ready for a new resident. The Maintenance Director is responsible for patching and painting walls, cleaning carpets, and painting walls where necessary, Move in and move out room checklists will be used for this purpose, and discussions with the Executive Director on any issues related to the apartment is vital
Safety Compliance: The Maintenance Director is responsible for ensuring that they and any employees reporting to them work in a safe manner and that unsafe actions are to be managed. Compliance with safety committee Standards is required. Should workplace injuries occur, the Department Heads and directors are to assist the Executive Director when required with the investigation, return to work, and management of the injured worker's communication with care provider and Bear Creek

We are a small memory care community in Molalla, Oregon, designed to care exclusively for those experiencing Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.
Our community consists of up to a maximum of 68 residents. We provide individualized care plans, which means each person will receive attentive and detailed care specific to their needs.
