    The Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care Medicine (PACCM) provides expert diagnosis and care of patients with lung diseases in our Pulmonary Clinic; allergy, asthma, and immunologic disorders in our Allergy Clinic; and of critically ill patients in our Intensive Care Unit. As part of PACCM, the Sleep Medicine Program provides collaborative care for patients with sleep disorders. In addition to our commitment to outstanding clinical care, PACCM is home to several outstanding research programs, conducting basic science research as well as clinical trials across a broad spectrum of subject matter. Our educational mission includes teaching on many levels, including but not limited to our fellowship programs in Pulmonary, Allergy, Sleep, and Critical Care Medicine. More information is available on our website: ********************************************************************************************************* Function/Duties of Position The duties of this position include: Clinical (40-90%): Provision of outpatient and inpatient clinical duties in the Allergy and Immunology Section of the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, as assigned by the Division Head. Administrative, Educational and Academic (10%): There are no specific administrative responsibilities assigned at this time. Educational responsibilities include presenting at and otherwise participating in division grand rounds and other conferences and may include teaching residents and medical students. Further responsibilities will be developed in conjunction with the division chief. Research (0-50%): Conduct independent clinical, translational, or basic science research. Teaching responsibilities may include teaching Allergy and Immunology fellows as well as residents from multiple specialties and medical students. Clinical responsibilities may include proficiency in treating both common and complex allergic and immunologic disorders in both inpatient and outpatient practice at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon. The provider may also be required to spend part of their clinical time at nearby satellite locations in the Portland metro region. The ideal candidate should have an interest and experience in education, systems improvement initiatives, and/or clinical research related to asthma, allergy and immunology. There will be opportunities to lead and coordinate the development of multi-disciplinary clinics in food allergy, asthma, atopic dermatitis, and severe sinus disease. The duties of this position support the mission, goals and objectives of OHSU and the University Hospitals and Clinics. The faculty member will join the myeloid malignancy team with the goal of expanding the basic, translational, and clinical research programs. Responsibilities to include: laboratory and/or clinical investigations of CML, management of patients with CML, and myeloproliferative disease in the outpatient setting; attending on the inpatient hematologic malignancy service with an emphasis on treating patients with leukemia; shared responsibility for on-call coverage; case conferencing with multi-disciplinary teams; coordination of teaching rounds with Fellows and House-staff assigned to the inpatient or outpatient service; growing the CML clinical and research programs; fostering collaborative relationships with referring physicians and organizations; medical direction to CHM Data Managers and Nurse Coordinators' experience and expertise in the establishment and maintenance of comprehensive CHM databases; development and participation in clinical trials; participating in administrative committees and councils of the OHSU as approved by the Chair and Division Head; engage in public service through consultative activities with non-university groups with knowledge and consent of the Chair and Division Head. It is anticipated your job will be made up of the following components: Research, Clinical, Teaching, and Service. What We Would Like You to Have + Research interests and/or publications in the areas of Agentic AI, business analytics, human computer interaction, information analysis, IT strategy, social media, impact of IT. + Demonstrated experience and competence in teaching at the university level, especially in the areas of Business Programing, AI in Business, Business Analytics, Machine learning/Deep Learning, LLMs, Social impact of AI. + Experience in teaching Master's level courses. + Demonstrated ability and commitment to adopt an inclusive approach to teaching. + Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in scholarly pursuits. + Relevant professional non-academic work experience.
