Decent pay, cafeteria is open all night, union support for RN staff, good teamwork among coworkers
Benefits are trying to be taken from us-C level officers are making tons of money and bonuses on the backs of all the other staff
Nothing-the perks/benefits are not very good and could be improved. For example-cafeteria costs are high but there is no discount for staff.
The union, my boss, our team; the care they show employees especially during a global pandemic: free/discount Lyft rides, emergency hardship fund, extra child care sponsoring, food bank, two extra weeks off if covid, and many more. Great medical insurance practically for free. Financial assistance for further education.
Free medical insurance.
Loved the work atmosphere. Everyone seems like family and want to help you succeed.
Parking is terrible and expensive so you have to use public transportation. It also took me an hour to get there and two hours to get home
Farmer's market on Tuesdays for lunch with coworkers and there is a Starbucks on campus
I love the field I am in (Bioinformatics, Computational Biology); the data analysis I do comes from cutting edge research; flexibility (work from home)
Dependent on grants available. No grant, no work. A bit nerve wrecking every time the end of a grant comes close.
Health Insurance
Opportunities for nurses are limited by physician-heavy professional/administrative structure
Library services
Good benefits, passionate coworkers
Understaffed, always too much to do and not enough time
Trimet discount pass
working and home and the career development
the benefits are ok.
working at home, flexible schedule.
