1963

1963 Bay State Milling purchases the New Jersey Flour Mills, located in Clifton, NJ.

1977

1977 New company logo designed and introduced.

1985

1985 Bay State Milling opens the country’s newest flour milling facility in Indiantown, FL.

1995

1995 Indiantown, FL mill is doubled in size to support new growth.

1998

1998 Milling capacity is doubled at Moorseville, NC and Tolleson, AZ.

2002

In 2002, McGeary Organics in nearby Lancaster bought the mill, whose antique rollers had been grinding wheat for McGeary’s subsidiary, Daisy Flour, for years.

2007

2007 Bay State Milling acquires additional interest in Rocky Mountain Milling, LLC, resulting in a majority ownership of the Platteville,CO facility.

2010

2010 Bay State Milling completes purchase of Rocky Mountain Milling, LLC, becoming largest miller of organic flour in United States The Nutrition Science Advisory Council (NSAC) is created in support of Bay State’s goal to provide healthy grain-based food ingredients.

2012

2012 Bay State Milling Company acquires T.J. Harkins, Inc. and Subsidiaries, a leading supplier of grains, edible seeds, specialty flours and organic ingredients.

2014

2014 Bay State Milling Company introduces a new corporate logo and tagline, A Trusted Family of Ingredients, to symbolize the Company’s continuing commitment to provide a reliable supply chain of plant-based ingredients for the grain-based foods market.

2018

2018 Bay State Milling expands the capabilities of the Rothwell GrainEssentials Center to include a fiber lab and bake lab in support of the Company’s extension into varietal development and unique, plant-based ingredients.
