Organically Grown company history timeline
Started as the Organically Grown Cooperative in 1978, it started as a non-profit corporation run by hippies in Eugene, Oregon.
By 1980, the desire to restructure the cooperative for business purposes resulted in the hiring of a VISTA worker, Lynn Crosby, who would act as coordinator of activities for the next several years.
In 1983, the coop opened its first dock in North Eugene.

After an expansion with another warehouse in Kent, Washington, Organically Grown Company opened a 120,000-square-foot (11,000 m) warehouse in Gresham, Oregon, in 2012.
As of February 2013, the 200-person company had annual revenues in excess of $100 million.
In 2016, the company moved into a larger Seattle facility and opened a dock in Spokane, WA to help serve Montana customers and beyond.
