Kate is a founder and COO of ORIG3N, a regenerative medicine focused biotechnology company based in Boston, MA.

She began her career at Celerant Consulting with a focus on strategy and implementation, working with companies in retail, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries. Kate later joined Hatteras Venture Partners, a venture capital firm investing in early stage companies with a focus on biopharmaceuticals, medical devices, diagnostics, healthcare IT, and related opportunities in human medicine.

At ArtusLabs, a portfolio company of HVP, she grew the business to a successful acquisition by PerkinElmer in 2011. While at PerkinElmer, Kate helped form and grow the Informatics group including leading the integration of multiple businesses into PerkinElmer and leading the global data visualization and analytics business.

She holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina, Kenan-Flagler School of Business and a B.A. from The Ohio State University.
