Position Description
Origis Energy is seeking an experienced Energy Analytics Manager / Nodal Production Cost Modeler to support strategic decision-making across our renewable energy portfolio. The candidate will apply advanced modeling to assess basis risk, congestion, curtailment, and long-term market value. This role collaborates closely with Grid Analysis, Interconnection, and Development teams.
The ideal candidate will lead market studies, review interconnection results, manage consultant work, and provide insights to optimize project economics. This includes evaluating policy and market changes, ensuring project assumptions remain current, and supporting project development, acquisitions, and portfolio strategy.
This position reports to the Senior Director Grid Analysis and is a full-time position with Origis' competitive benefits package, including health insurance, PTO, 401(k) with employer match, and more.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain production cost models to analyze market dynamics, congestion, curtailment, and basis risk.
Support project siting by coordinating with Grid Analysis and Interconnection teams to evaluate potential POIs.
Conduct economic studies for project vbility, revenue forecasting, and long-term value.
Build price forecasting models incorporating fundamentals, transmission, and load/generation scenarios.
Assess market rule changes, transmission upgrades, and retirements for project impacts.
Provide reports and presentations to leadership for strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with development, finance, and asset management to optimize portfolio performance.
Review interconnection study results and coordinate with BD, Dev, and Finance teams.
Support acquisitions through due diligence and fatal flaw analysis.
Represent Origis in industry forums, conferences, and regulatory discussions.
Maintain strong relationships with ISO/RTO stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Economics, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred).
7-10 years in energy market analysis, production cost modeling, or power system economics.
Hands-on expertise with PROMOD and PAT (5+ years)
Knowledge of power flow tools (PowerWorld, PSSE) and transmission fundamentals
Strong understanding of ISO/RTO markets, LMP pricing, and market operations
Strong familiarity with MISO & ERCOT markets preferred
Proven experience in basis risk, congestion, and curtailment analysis
Strong analytical, financial modeling, and statistical skills
Knowledge of solar, storage, and renewable energy technologies

The Director of Origination, reporting to the Senior Director Origination, will play a key role in identifying and cultivating new business opportunities within the Central region (MISO/SPP), contributing to the growth and expansion of our renewable energy portfolio.
The Director of Origination will lead customer negotiations, including Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), and must be comfortable serving as the face of the company in customer meetings. A strong enthusiasm for building customer-focused solutions is essential. Additionally, experience with project pricing, project modeling, reporting, proposal writing, and overall knowledge of the renewable project development life cycle is required.

Key Responsibilities
Market Research and Analysis
Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential business opportunities and market trends in the renewable energy sector, with a specific focus on solar and battery storage technologies.

Proposal Development and Presentation
Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized proposals and presentations tailored to the needs and requirements of prospective clients.

Deal Negotiation and Closing
Negotiate terms and agreements with clients, including pricing, contract terms, and service-level agreements, to secure new business opportunities.

Identify opportunities for market expansion and growth within the Central region, including geographic expansion, new market segments, and emerging technologies.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Engineering, or related fields.
Experience and general understanding of the U.S. utility scale solar and energy storage markets; knowledge of the energy industry and familiarity with solar and battery storage technologies is preferred.
5+ years' experience working for a developer of renewable energy (wind, solar, biomass, geothermal, hydro), energy storage, and/or thermal generation; working for an energy, oil and gas organization; investor-owned utility; or working for a renewable energy buyer with experience working with renewable project developers or leading development activities at the utility
Prior experience in business development, finance, sales, or related fields is a plus.

This is a hybrid position, working 3 days in the office and 2 days from home office. The successful candidate will be involved in all facets of transmission line routing and design. Specific areas of responsibility are provided below.
Job Description
Routing and design a variety of transmission line projects with project scopes varying from new to rebuilt facilities utilizing Power Line Systems software
Responsible for technical content and deliverables while working with multi-discipline teams under the guidance of the assigned Project Engineer or Manager
Sag tension calculation for transmission tower loading
Structure design and analysis and preparing loading trees
Assist in the development of design criteria and specifications for transmission line design and procurement of materials
Perform peer quality checks
Should be familiar with Transmission industry codes and standards
Assist Engineer of Record in preparing construction documents including plan and profile drawings, structure loading trees, and foundation and assembly drawings
Assist Engineer of Record with complex projects and be the lead engineer for smaller projects
Provide construction support for high voltage transmission line projects
Participate and progress the company culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
Act as a liaison between Kosmos Group engineering and construction teams by conducting field site visits
Apply engineering principals and technical experience address project issues and recommend solutions

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited college
An Engineering-in-Training (EIT) certificate
Minimum 2 years of transmission line design experience
Experience in Power Line System-based programs (i.e., PLS Suite of software including PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, etc.)
Strong attention to detail, team collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed for project support

Polar Tankers, a wholly owned subsidiary of ConocoPhillips, provides marine transportation for North Slope production, using five company-owned, double-hulled tankers in addition to chartering third-party vessels as necessary. The tankers deliver oil from Valdez, Alaska, to refineries primarily on the West Coast of the United States. The company operates five Endeavour-class tankers: Polar Endeavour, Polar Resolution, Polar Discovery, Polar Adventure and Polar Enterprise.

If you are selected as the 3rd Mate, you will be working under the direction of the Master and Chief Mate. The 3rd Mate must have a good understanding of all deck machinery and cargo systems and be proficient at navigation and cargo watch keeping. The 3rd Mate is required to participate in all drills and emergencies and to assist with the enforcement of rules, procedures, regulations, and pollution prevention.
Position Overview
Your responsibilities may include:
Navigating the vessel safely
Maintaining safety equipment aboard the vessel
Documenting accuracy and completion of safety equipment jobs
Assisting in cargo operations
Assisting the Master in organizing and conducting the safety program aboard the vessel
Standing an independent watch in the cargo control room
Overseeing the ABs
Monitoring the deck and pump room for spills/leaks
Making hourly rounds of the pump room during cargo watch
Performing all segments of cargo handling
Typically works a 12-hour-day consisting of two 4-hour watch periods and an additional 4-hour work period. You may not work more than 15 hours per day or 36 hours per 3-day period

Key Responsibilities
