All the high-end administration tasks are secure in their hands, and it is advisable to have at least an L3 level technician as a team leader in every operation. These engineers use requirements and aim to replicate problems to detect the root cause. They have access to the highest technological support for fixing issues or developing new features. Their team mainly consists of chief engineers who designed the product or service
• Responsible for providing support to customers by researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting issues, and resolving incidents that cannot be resolved by Tier 1 (L1) and providing support for software and hardware technical problems. This role is customer-facing and requires excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to work under pressure when customers are experiencing critical incidents. Handles the tickets routed by L1 support or can they produce tickets for any issue they observe
• Plays a key role as the front-line interface between our customer and the Product & Engineering team and operates as a second level of support after basic user-level Remote Support (L1). Their primary responsibility is to provide customer support by resolving technical support incidents or service requests in accordance with applicable service level agreements
Roles & Responsibilities
Network (LAN, WAN and Wireless)
• Troubleshooting & admin of Cisco Layer 2 & Layer 3 Routing, Cisco Wireless Networks, Cisco PBX Administration, Cisco standard protocols and Cisco CCNA certification
• Ability to support IT Cabling, Infrastructure Planning, and Design. Examples of scope work (cable patching, switch config/deploy, port enable/disable, analyze network traffic)
• TCP/IP, DHCP, Subnetting, VLAN, POE
• Experience with packet capturing example: Wire Shark
• Network maintenance, support and refresh
• Smart Hands for remote teams & 3rd party vendor management for issue escalation/resolution
Data Center (Server Room) Management
• Site infrastructure knowledge (Power/UPS, HVAC, cabling, etc.)
• Experience installing and troubleshooting server room hardware components, such as Rack Servers, Fiber, switches, disk drives, memory, etc.
• Smart Hands for remote teams & 3rd party vendor management for issue escalation/resolution
Server Management
• Must have experience in administering windows server operating systems e.g. Windows Server 2016, monitoring, troubleshooting, parts swaps/repair
• DHCP, DNS, Print Server, File Shares, Microsoft SCCM
• Smart Hands for remote teams & 3rd party vendor management for issue escalation/resolution
• Working knowledge/experience supporting Hardware for servers, data backup libraries and SAN/NAS
• Server, storage and backup systems maintenance, support and refresh: Rackmount, install and configure server hardware

Critical plant floor hardware support
• Examples of work include items like MFG support (GALC, AER creation, PTCS, etc.)
• ANDON and PLC (Programmable Logical Controls) support knowledge
• First level of support Business and Plant Floor applications, managing escalation of issues to the Subject Matter Experts (SME's)
• Excellent troubleshooting (critical thinking), problem solving & root cause analysis skills for Outage & Problem Management
• Exceptional customer service and ability to work well under pressure e.g. plant down situation, outages, critical plant floor equipment require a 15-minute turnaround time
• On-call 24x7 availability during non-work hours and ability to work flexible hours and overtime

Summary: Our client is seeking an SAP Operation Support Engineer to support SAP S/4, key Base Operations systems, and broader IT infrastructure initiatives. Key Responsibilities :
SAP Support & Data Management
- Serve as the SAP data steward: maintain vehicle lists, equipment structures, work centers, measuring points, counters, task lists, maintenance plans, and catalog codes.
- Partner with the Business Applications team on As-Maintained BOM cleanup and resolving data inaccuracies.
- Provide configuration management support in SAP for Base Operations ahead of key milestones.
- Lead SAP improvement and automation initiatives and evaluate user experience to drive usability enhancements.
- Act as the primary SAP subject-matter expert, handling troubleshooting, maintenance, and user support.
- Work with internal training teams to create module-specific SAP training for BaseOps users.

- Provide general IT application support for Base Operations systems and advocate operational needs with Corporate IT.
- Lead IT infrastructure and application improvement projects informed by data insights and user feedback.
- Support development, maintenance, and operations of technical publications tools, release software, and customer-facing documentation systems.
- Improve documentation review workflows in partnership with the BaseOps documentation team.

Daily Focus :

- Maintain NixOS systems, verify version integrity, and complete post-update health checks.

- Conduct basic network diagnostics (ip addr/link/route) and analyze Grafana dashboards to correlate and confirm system alerts.

The Network Operation Engineer is the primary point of contact for Schwab's technology teams. The position works in the Information Technology Operations (ITO) Command Center and participates in the technical administration of network systems, as well as assisting with monitoring enterprise-wide alerts, performing incident, problem and change management work, this includes providing initial triages during an event and post review after an event. The role ensures production systems' environment operate reliably and efficiently. This team is one of five supporting 24/7/365 mission-critical operations, and this role will operate the hours of 1:00 pm- 1:30 am ET, Friday to Sunday.
What you have
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related discipline with an information technology focus or equivalent experience.
* 1-3 years of experience in a large 24x7 high availability data center operations environment (1000+ servers)
* Possess specialized knowledge and understanding of network and server operating systems normally obtained through formal technical training
* Experience working with load balancers, to add/remove servers and/or service ports from load balancers.
* Solid knowledge in network concepts; ability to configure NFS and NIS, use of basic network commands for troubleshooting/DNS validation and basic routing concepts.
* A working knowledge of UNIX and Windows Server-based operating systems with strong background with paging and swapping, inter-process communication, devices and what device drivers do and file system concepts.
* Fundamentals on writing scripts in some administrative languages (Perl, PowerShell).
* Familiarity with Remedy/SmartIT or similar service management tools.
* Strong problem solving and decision-making skills focusing on efficient service restoration.
* Ability to pay close attention to details while performing technically detailed tasks.
* IT management experience with process development and improvement.
* Experience in implementing key IT standardized processes and methodologies (ITIL, Event Management, Incident, Problem and Knowledge Management).
* A change agent and forward thinking, ability to influence team with continuous operational process and technology changes.
Preferred Qualifications:
* 5-7 years of network hands-on experience in a large 24x7 high availability data center environment (1000+ servers)
* Experience in hybrid cloud or multi-site networks
* Knowledge of AWS, GCP, and Azure Cloud administration.
* Proficiency in programming languages like Python or Perl is a plus
* Ability to prioritize tasks in high-pressure environments
* Strong communication across teams and technical levels Applies specialized expertise to support initiatives that optimize performance
* Writes concise, well-structured, and engaging business documents
