I&C Technician performs installation, maintenance, repair, and calibration tasks on Company's gas measurement equipment including but not limited to large meters, meter indexes/instrumentation and volume correctors, industrial AMR devices, and SCADA equipment. In addition, this role coordinates all gate station instrumentation and control installations within assigned territory. Will be covering from Jupiter to Miami, FL area WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED? Minimum of High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution. A minimum of 5 years instrumentation & control experience is required. In lieu of direct I & C experience, other related electrical work or measurement and regulation experience may be considered. Good understanding of electrical and electronic principles. Working knowledge of the D.O.T. requirements. Strong Technical ability. Computer skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently. Ability to maintain high customer satisfaction through high systems availability with timely and accurate data and minimum system downtime. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to individuals internal and external of PGS. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinates all gate station instrumentation and control installations with division and corporate personnel within assigned territory. Installs and maintains gas measurement equipment including but not limited to large meters, meter indexes and correctors, industrial AMR devices, and SCADA equipment. Performs accuracy testing and performs calibration adjustments on gas measurement equipment such as meter instrumentation and meter volume correctors; Completes maintenance and calibration adjustments, as needed, on SCADA field equipment; Verifies programming configuration of SCADA Remote Terminal Units, electronic meter correctors, and industrial AMR units. Responds to industrial AMR (Automated Meter Reading) system dropped/disconnected calls, making repairs to AMR or telecommunication equipment as required. Plans, monitors and performs preventative maintenance as determined and scheduled during testing. Tracks maintenance schedules in the Work Management System (WMS). Performs emergency response maintenance as needed, conducting on-site troubleshooting and corrective measures to gas measurement equipment. Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing the communication link between field devices and corporate database servers. Constructs new facilities and installs modifications to existing facilities according to PGS Engineering designs and instructions. Works with division and corporate personnel in the installation of electrical and electronic interfaces for SCADA, telemetry, electronic measurement, chromatograph and odorization systems. Replaces field electronic equipment to insure effective integration. Completes all required calibration documentation utilizing the work management system and ensures procedures follow accepted engineering principles and company policies and procedures. Ensures all field facilities related to gas distribution and transmission pipelines comply with Federal, State and local electrical codes. Job Summary: The Maintenance Mechanic repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment, including pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines, to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and performing preventative and corrective maintenance in accordance with company standards and operational needs. Responsibilities: Observe mechanical equipment in operation to identify the cause of malfunctions. Diagnose equipment failures and recommend appropriate repair actions. Dismantle equipment to remove and replace defective parts. Adjust functional parts of equipment and calibrate control instruments as needed. Ensure all equipment complies with OEM and regulatory agency operating standards. Perform proper lubrication of equipment in compliance with OEM schedules. Qualifications: Technical school training in industrial maintenance or related field preferred. SUMMARY OF POSITION: Knowledge and ability to diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, suspension, electrical, hydraulic, body components and systems related to heavy duty and light duty trucks. This may include gasoline, diesel and CNG systems. May include welding and fabrication. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 1. Diagnoses mechanical problems and performs repairs and maintenance on all equipment to maximize safe and productive operations. Reviews and completes repairs identified on DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report) and/or repair orders. 2. Communicates with managers/drivers as to issues with vehicles and discusses preventive techniques that minimize future repairs. 3. Completes all required paperwork in a timely and concise manner. 4. Follows all safety policies and procedures 5. Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards. 6. Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs. 7. Conducts safety checks on vehicles and equipment. 8. Conducts repairs utilizing Factory Service Manuals. 9. Conducts safety checks on vehicles and equipment. 10. Maintain high standard of Ethics and Dependability. QUALIFICATIONS: * Knowledge of Suspension Inspections, Diagnosis and Repair * Knowledge of Brake System Inspections, Diagnosis and Repair * Knowledge of Electrical System Inspection, Diagnosis and Repair * Knowledge of Hydraulic System Inspection, Diagnosis and Repair * Proficient in the use of Diagnostic tools with the ability to interpret and make repairs from Service Manuals * Ability to complete work within Suggested Repair Times (SRTs) and the ability to estimate time and material required for repairs * Knowledge to provide assistance and guidance to Assistant Technicians and Shop Helpers. * CDL Class B (preferred within 12 months)
