Responsibilities Responsibilities will include operating or assisting in the operation of manufacturing machinery, material handling equipment and general plant operations. Work in corrugator, die cut, finishing, printing, or shipping departments. Additional duties include driving forklift or clamp truck, hauling trash to the compactor, hauling scrap to the baler, sweeping the floor, fill in for crew replacement (vacations, call ins). Must maintain clean, safe work area. Perform preventative maintenance inspections and tasks, perform visual inspection of product quality. Will perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, a stable work history, good communication skills, basic computer skills, and the ability to work well with others. Able to use a measuring tape, utility knife, and broom. With training, able to operate a forklift, clamp truck, various machines, various hand tools, air hose, compactor, and steam hose. Focus on safety and familiarity with safe work practices, including but not limited to Lockout / Tagout is required. Stand continuously, climb ladders, squat, ben, kneel, crawl. Life and carry 75 lbs. without assistance.
