The Finishing Operator, Sewing is required to perform many functions within the plant, including, but not limited to, operating a variety of equipment. The main task will be operating commercial grade sewing machines. Other tasks may include moving boxes, products and supplies; operating computerized equipment; writing and filling out forms; sorting and collating products; following instructions from supervisors; and communicating effectively with other team members throughout the plant. The Finishing Operator, Sewing will be heavily involved in the printing/finishing of orders according to customer specifications (order details). This team member also maintains the Digital and Signs and Graphics production areas and equipment.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Process and produce Digital and Signs & Graphics print/finish orders as requested and/or directed
Operate Digital and Signs & Graphics printers, binding and other auxiliary equipment (i.e., commercial grade sewing machine, heat press, laser cutter, etc.)
Perform all phases of equipment set-up, operation and routine maintenance
Maintain equipment and supplies, to include cleaning and repairing
Provide customer service, including problem solving, to satisfy those needs with a minimum amount of supervision
Produce work in accordance with LEAN manufacturing principles to enable Done Right, On Time quality results
Follow instructions of supervisors and assist other team members in performing center functions
Maintain work area to 5S standards (i.e., clean, safe, uncluttered)
All other duties as needed or required
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma / GED / trade school certification or equivalent experience
2+ years of work-related experience preferred
Demonstrated proficiency with commercial sewing equipment
Prior experience in FedEx Office products & services offerings preferred
Commercial print and production environment experience preferred
Good organizational and communication skills

Job Description:
The Logistics Terminal Manager will be responsible for 100% of all aspects of the facility Operation, including, but not limited to, all drivers pay and negotiations, full P&L responsibility, daily customer interactions, all decisions regarding the customer's and organization's requirements. The position has support from a Regional Director. Also, fully responsible for the financial results of the facility's operation, including efficiency, cost as well as pricing issues consulting the Regional Director or Executive team, as appropriate.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of terminal staff, including supervisors, warehouse workers, and administrative personnel.
Operational Oversight: Oversee all terminal operations, including loading and unloading, inventory management, and equipment maintenance.
Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and implement safety protocols to minimize workplace accidents.
Customer Service: Maintain excellent customer relationships by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing timely updates.
Resource Management: Manage resources efficiently, including labor, equipment, and materials, to optimize terminal performance.
Cost Control: Monitor and control operational expenses to meet budgetary targets while maximizing efficiency.
Reporting: Generate regular reports on terminal performance, productivity, and KPIs for senior management.

Qualifications:
