General Purpose
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Conventional Manufacturing Supervisor will assist in developing an intentional culture of excellence, teamwork, and growth. This key role will direct, and coordinate production. The Supervisor will direct Team Leads, Set-up Techs, Operators, Machinists, and other employees involved in processing product. The position is responsible for scheduling all conventional production for both 1st and 2nd shift. The Manufacturing Supervisor will also lead performance through planning, coordinating, and evaluating the activities of the management team and employees while ensuring production quality and safety standards throughout the conventional side of the shop. Works with engineers and the safety / training coordinator to ensure safety of plant employees and the production process.

Assist with New Product Introduction and Product Development projects.
Maintain responsibility for all processes, equipment, employees, safety, and housekeeping of the department.

Education and Experience
7+ years in manufacturing including 2+ years at a manager level position directing operations of similar manufacturing facility with direct responsibility to meet production throughput and quality goals.
Must have a minimum of 5+ years' experience in CNC machining
Must have a minimum of 2+ years in a leadership role with 20+ direct reports
Experience working with complex / engineered product lines.
Considerable experience defining and utilizing manufacturing systems, data, and metrics to plan and execute production plans.
Able to lead cross functional teams to identify the root cause and implement effective corrective actions for problems which impede the execution of production plans.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills required to effectively interact with all teams, areas, and levels of business
Demonstrated ability to work independently and successfully multi-task, excellent organizational skills, a high sense of urgency
Associate's degree+ and or trade school certification preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Productions required
Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now a plus

Relay Express is a 24/7 Logistical Solutions Provider, with headquarters in Fairfield, Ohio. We are currently looking for a full-time 3rd shift Dispatcher. The shift is Friday, Saturday , and Sunday 20:00-8:00. Thirty hours weekly for a full-time salary. The ideal candidate should have a background in fast-paced environments including experience with multi-line phones, and computer proficiency including Word and Excel. Individuals must be able to work in a self-motivated manner. This is a key operational position with the opportunity to advance and grow with the company.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Understand all Relay Express Large Vehicle service types and customer-specific SOPs.
· Build strong geographic and operational knowledge of our service markets and driver fleets.
· Monitor fleet capacity in real time to anticipate needs before orders are placed.
· Conduct driver pre-check calls two hours before report time to confirm availability and understanding of assignments.
· Assign orders to the most qualified contractor based on:
- Customer time requirements
- Freight volume/dimensions
- Special handling needs
· Proactively track all drivers using GPS and dispatch software to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries
· Log all critical delivery details in real-time (arrival/departure times, BOL numbers, freight counts, PODs, etc.).
· Maintain open communication with Branch Managers to align dispatch operations with IC capacity and performance targets.
· Promote safety by ensuring ELD and FMCSR compliance.

General Supervisor - 2nd shift

Essential Duties: The primary focus of the General Supervisor is to direct and oversee production activities by working closely with Production Supervisors and staff in the corrugator, printing, and shipping departments. This includes discussing objectives, resolving operational issues, and ensuring alignment with plant policies and goals related to safety, quality, yield, and productivity. The role also coordinates with operations and manufacturing leadership to implement strategies and conducts scheduling meetings with sales teams to support production. The General Supervisor will cover supervisor absences (e.g. vacations) as needed.
The General Supervisor fosters a positive labor-management environment through regular communication, timely resolution of disagreements, and on-floor engagement to maintain high morale. Responsibilities include training and coaching Production Supervisors, monitoring performance, ensuring proper use of materials and equipment, and maintaining food safety standards. This position involves managing resources, completing reports, providing leadership coverage when needed, and planning for future growth through capital improvements and workforce development.
Qualifications / Educational Requirements: A high school diploma or GED is required. A bachelor's degree in a technical field or business management is preferred. Candidates should have either 2 years of manufacturing management experience with a degree or 5 years of manufacturing management experience without a degree. Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience as a Production Supervisor in a high-speed manufacturing environment with responsibility for safety, quality, and productivity. Additionally, at least 1 year of experience working with payroll and scheduling programs is required.
Strong leadership abilities, excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), and good people management skills are essential. Candidates should also possess basic math skills and demonstrate the ability to foster a positive, productive work environment.

What you'll do as a Distribution Supervisor:
Direct and motivate teammates.
Communicate company and division information to teammates.
Listen, address and follow-up to teammate concerns, questions and problems.
Facilitate communication within the warehouse leadership team and between division/warehouse leadership and teammates.
Understand DC goals and standards, implement department procedures to meet those standards, and promote them to and gain buy-in and positive results from teammates; standards may include but will not be limited to\: productivity, order quality, damages, shrinkage, safety, sanitation, turnover and overtime.
Ensure department and warehouse procedures will cut unnecessary costs, add value for customers, and improve morale and the work environment for teammates.
Ensure the work environment is maintained in a clean and safe manner following government, company and Silliker standards.
Supervise and manage daily work of department teammates.
Create and maintain schedules and job assignments of department teammates.
Maintain all departmental paperwork.
Provide training as needed to maintain an efficient and knowledgeable workforce.
Provide coaching/corrective action, training and development for teammates.
Enforce all Distribution Center policies and issue coaching/corrective action as needed.
Ensure adherence to proper operational and safety procedures.
Be a visible and a vocal advocate for safety.
Relieve other supervisor(s) during their vacations.
Comply with company work and safety rules.
Be trained and certified to operate any required equipment within 30 days after hire.
Maintain a flexible work schedule to meet the changing needs of the Distribution Center; work schedules may require working an early shift, staying long for a late shift, and weekend work depending on the customer and operational requirements of the division.
Work in warm and cold temperature conditions that may range from 38°F to 110°F; a supervisor assigned to the freezer must be able to periodically work in temperatures as cold as -10°F.
Periodically stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, grasp and reach above the head as needed.

Qualifications you'll bring as a Distribution Supervisor:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
A bachelor's degree is preferred.
Have 2 years distribution warehouse experience, preferably in the grocery industry.
Have experience leading large numbers of warehouse staff with experience in hiring, training, motivating and resolving employee relation's issues.
Have computer knowledge to include experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
Demonstrate the ability to lead by example.
Possess good written and verbal communication skills.
Be willing to listen and respond to teammates.
Have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and teammates.
Have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.

Job Overview:
The 2nd Shift Supervisor is responsible to the Repair Station Manager for the management of the 2nd shift production and the oversite of employees. Coordinating the daily operations during the shift. Maintaining all work areas and shop equipment and tools in a serviceable working condition, assuring that periodic checks and calibrations are made on special tools and test equipment, and that current records are maintained of those tests and calibrations.
Ensure that all necessary production entries on work orders used by the Repair Station are properly executed by the responsible mechanics.
Ensures personnel are performing at an expected/satisfactory level of Quality
